I need to prepare separated thread but I also replied in popular streaming site thread.

Maybe someone is interested to make illegal movie streaming sites, etc.

Do not to make it in European Union, USA Canada or Australia. If you live in some Africa, then free way.
a) i am typing a movie title in google, almost all search scores are DMCA filtered, unless it's original movie on legit website, Google is doing it much better and better each time
b) you WILL go to jail, police in Poland is better and better in catching such guys, on the begining they catched few idiots, who made it from local hostings, they earned arround $5mln, then they started beeing better and catched guy:
-who was using RDP, servers and domain using btc and arround the world + TOR
-who was using BTC mixers and many banks accounts on the world
-who moved from country to Asia

Why they catched him? Because our police works well with FBI and NSA, they have access to TOR tracking algos, they asked 3rd party countries to force their hosting providers, then they tracked cash, btc, everything carefuly for 3 years.
They they catched him and put do jail, sentence? 8 years for money laundering, not for piracy but for laundering.
When the police had trouble to ask countries for piracy things (not all countries are nice to cooperate), when they heard "money laundering", they gave everything on golden place, even forcing their own hosting operators.

According to the findings of the police officers and the prosecutor, from 2010, he was to monopolize in Poland the activity of illegal distribution of films on the Internet. Male is the owner of one of the largest portals of this type in Poland.

According to the information of the police officers, the 49-year-old, in order to hide his identity, founded a number of companies and accounts abroad, mainly in Liechtenstein. Thanks to them, he moved financial resources out of Poland. As evidenced by the collected evidence, it is about 10 million PLN.

Three partners joined Jarosław K. The 36-year-old from Elbląg was responsible for creating a database of films offered on the Internet and establishing a company in the USA, used for financial settlements. However, 27-year-old Joanna W. and 30-year-old Marek R. from the Podkarpackie Province, who offered their services to K. by mail, engaged in laundering of dirty money - finally transfer of funds from illegal distribution of films from foreign accounts to Poland.

As the investigators have determined, illegal money also went to a company registered in one of the countries in the Mediterranean. The company invested in shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange - recently, PLN 8 million. The police, prosecutor and Chief Inspector of Financial Information have already blocked the funds invested.

On May 6 this year, police officers entered apartments and businesses of all suspects. In each group there was also an expert computer scientist who typed security equipment. The perpetrators were detained, they did not resist.

In total, policemen have secured about PLN 150,000 in cash, 40 computers and discs, 10 laptops, documentation confirming financial and business relationships between entities in Poland and abroad. The main suspect, against the financial penalties threatening him, secured a luxurious Jaguar, several brand-name watches worth at least tens of thousands of zlotys each, as well as several dozen SIM telephone cards.

Shareholders heard allegations of illegal distribution of films in order to obtain financial and money laundering benefits.

But this info is from 2015, after 3 years, there was interview in TV by police, they catched BTC, tor, hosting providers in different countries, rdp, sim cards and even banks.

It's not massive breaking copyrights. Yes, we can find here some leaked things like scripts, themes, sometimes but it's only user responsibility.

If you are making streaming/warez site, then it's only warning for people who see easy money and they brain suddenly of.
 
I dunno, the ratio of people who host movie streaming sites to people that actually get arrested for it is pretty small. Yes, peOppenheimer get caught up.. but for every 1 that gets knocked off, another 500-1k go scott free. BH activities aren't for everyone.

All depends to your scale. They will not go for small fish but when you have website with traffic that can earn you millions, like guy on this forum in popular streaming thread, then probably someone will get interested to your activity.
If they want, they will catch you and no btc, tor, rdp will help you. Especialy for countries in European Union and 1st tier, when they just call to FBI/NSA and they have what they want.

So your real advice is to pay taxes to avoid being jailed right? the government does not care about how you obtained the money as far as you pay your taxes, in order to research your ilegal activities in most cases there needs to be an investigation which usually are launched by the tax authorities otherwise these things are pretty difficult to enforce.
 
Is it dangerous to make a website like oceanofgames ? Downloading games fo free?
 
No one hosts such contents in Poland anyway, at least the big players won't.

I agree that yes, if you're earning too much.. in other words, doing too much in their eyes, possibly on a large scale.. then yes, they'll do what they need to do to try and shut you down. That goes for most operations whether grey hat or black hat. Same goes for spamming, when done on a small to medium scale they won't mess with you because there's too many of you at that level. When you begin to do it on a large, unreasonable scale, they will come and shut it down.

In my 10+ years doing IM, I've seen people I knew, get sued, arrested and/or shut down because they were doing a little too much in the eyes of whoever had the intentions on shutting down shop. Much better to earn a reasonable income, and fly under the radar.. than to try and be the man, and get locked up upset that nobody writing you letters or putting money on your books.

It all depends to your country. I advice to not make piracy. Some of these services in Poland called "cda.pl" is making greyhat. They are paying huge taxes and if some movie distributor send DMCA, they are removing file. Next day, users publishing same file but changed a little. They are not touchable because law in Poland is sick and requires exact file hash. Distributors are angry but they are filling everyday tons of paper DMCA requests ;)

Still, depends to country. Interesting thing, that user (not site owner) can watch movies online without breaking law but when he use software like game, it's illegal.

Tor is impossible to track unless the exit node is exactly the one they've intercepted.

They tracked down silk road via Bitcoin transactions, not via TOR. When they exchanged BTC for money it set alarms off and they set up a sting operation. It's not TOR.
