yes. it will need to take a long time for you to warm up the profile to make it strong enough to run ads.

this is why so many people suggest you to just buy an account with spending history instead.

PS. I never link IG into FB account myself. so I can't give you suggestion about it. sorry...

I saw a guide that suggested to first create a page and boost a few posts without opening a BM, using the “no button” option. Then after those posts been boosted successfully you open a BM after Facebook will propose you to do that and that way it'll seem more natural that you're opening a BM. What do you think about that?

No, you need to soak your account in several days or weeks before starting your ads. Start with boost post campaign to warm up your account.

When doing a boost post campaign, the personal ad account is used, right? Basically, you're suggesting boosting a post prior to even opening a BM? Can you please verify if I understood you correctly?

Yes. Try personal account first. They are automatically created when you do a new campaign. When your personal account has high thresholds then try to create BM.

Your pay usually. Don't be debt and your thresholds will be raised by your spending.

What other choice do I have? I never used Facebook before and opened a legit personal account. I don't think that buying a sketchy account would be better for the long term. I'm planning to grow it natuirally and expand the limits with time. If you have any tips, I'd like to hear them

there are many accounts for sale on the web, you can refer. If you still want to use your personal facebook account, please make sure your product is white
