"Want to Sell" thread is needed in BlackHatWorld

By default the trust score should be 100%. WTS-trading overtime should be fluctuating this number.

Only Jr.VIP and maybe weekly or monthy 1 free selling allowance would work. So it would not be massive job load for mods and it would not be easy to abuse the system with an allowance.

In fact, I feel that one selling allowance per month is a lot. One WTS quarterly allowance actually is best. It will deter spammers, and less work for mods. That means Jr VIPs would have to think twice if it's worth opening a WTS thread in those periods.

I think you still can by paying a 30 USD fee in misc. , though you can't sell a software that another member sell and you are reselling it.

What you’re talking about isn’t far off what we currently do for the domains and websites for sale section in the marketplace. A one off won and done style of listing.

However, as mentioned above we review all products on the forum which means we maintaining a fair level of quality control. What would be the general feeling on a section that was clearly marked as “unmoderated” / Wild West - other than to check breaches of the BHW terms. ? This could allow listings at a lower price point or a percentage of revenue could be applied for one off services / low volume items as mentioned above?
Thoughts appreciated

I love the idea of a wild west free for all guns blazing section :D

But a big fat notice should be put up top and all over that section that it's UNMODERATED. So if there are any issues with purchases, there's no shitlist, there's no protection, you're on your own.

Because if you put up such a section and allow people to complain to moderators for anything and open shitlists, yall are done, cooked, stick a fork in all the admins and see if they bleed :D

Sounds like digital point.

Nah, I shall pass.

Also, correct me if I am wrong. BHW already allows you to do this through the signature (and profile link too). I mean, you could have a signature banner that redirects the visitor to a different site for buying something. What's the issue with putting those products in the signature then?

I think the current marketplace is more than okay for what it does. The idea of an unmoderated sub forum in the marketplace will only create confusion than anything else. :)

That forum still exists? Hm.

We can have a section. I'm game for it. Or at least do like a BETA, see how it goes, and take it from there.

The forum can benefit too, make some extra cake :D

The extra cake is not something that Damien pursues.

He pursues a quality environment where all the members benefit and no moderation in a sales thread is asking for issues right off.

I think the idea, although glad it was brought up so we can all learn, is really not a solid one if we are going to not have staff vett the seller and the seller's product(s).
