Walmart Affiliates reducing commission rates

Rates are being cut from 4% to 1% in the following categories:
Furniture, Bed and Bath, Kitchen Appliances, dining, Vacuums, home decor, Arts and crafts.

There hasn’t been an announcement yet, but I looked at the contract update they pushed today and noticed the change.

I know some ppl switched when amazon cut rates but once again a major player has cut rates and affiliates are caught on the broadside.

The writing was on the wall when Bezo and them cut the Amazon affiliate commissions.

Those of you in that game need to pivot.

wow, 1% is savage. people really needs to start considering other options

Yup the writing was on the wall, you called it out back then. All 3 ( Amazon, Walmart, EBay) of the major e-commerce brands have dropped rates recently.
With the new rates it doesn’t make sense to run ads for them.
review sites could still be worthwhile, but they would have to be run super lean for them to make financial sense.

so sad for affiliate marketers. looking for better ways to monetize blogs.
