I was hoping to brain storm some ideas with you guys on how I can monetize my vps. I have a few ideas, not looking for big money just wondering all the options.

You could run software you don't want running on your PC, like bots or macros. Or you could start a service that runs those for clients, or another service like game hosting or video rendering if it's good enough. You could also just simply double whatever you're doing, if you're uploading stuff then double it on the VPS!

Asking someone how they can make money with a laptop doesnt sound stupid to me.
I'm not looking for a guide, I'm looking to shoot the shit. Give me opinions. I have hustles that havent required a vps. Im getting one out of convience and I'm wondering if there any side hustles I can take on with it to get the most out of my money.

well mining crypto with a vps is a waste of time, if any you could try foldingcoin. if you leave it running 24/7 on a mid range vps it might get you around $20 a month or something (deppending on the available cpu power) and you even help to do something good (you basically help medical research by participating).

That means with my vps I can turn $4.25 into $20 a month.
Ten vps at $42.50 would give me $200 a month.
Twenty vps $425 --) $2000 monthly

He said with a "mid range" VPS and if you're only paying $4.25 a month to use it then I'm not sure it'll generate quite that much, but still could be worth it.

It's a definitely a "fuckin forum" man... I only monetize my VPS in one way and that's through uploading which I mentioned is a possibility, and I gave more ideas in my first post. I'm SO sorry I linked you some more ideas for you to look at. You literally had nothing to go off in your first post and I wanted to help with general ideas, others can help with personalized experience...
Starting a video rendering service is only possible with your own VPS or a pricy rented one, render in 1080p simply for slow computers that need it, or render 1080p watermarked with a client's submitted logo etc.

Unless your VPS has a GPU, crypto mining will get you nowhere. Most cryptocurrencies are 100-200x more efficient with GPUs, and as a result using CPUs will most likely end up with a loss. Some VPS providers also discourage/ban mining on their servers.
