VPN or dedicated for small e-commerce

I'm wondering if anyone has the specs necessary for a small e-commerce site. What are the min requirements for a site that has about about...

50- 100 people viewing at once

200-500 viewing at once

500-1000 people viewing at once

Do I need to take into consideration how many people come to the site daily? (Bandwith)

What is better to host on said site. VPN or dedicated hosting?

I will have access to a computer, but is it possible to work on the site via Android mobile without limitations? Would this make VPN a better choice if I have to edit/work on the site via Android often rather than dedicated hosting?

I looked online for some info and I just found promotions... And affiliates. Cheaper is definitely better for me but I also want to pay monthly which I know is usually more expensive rather than paying for a year at a time.

Edit- I saw hosting/domain for .01 cent for first month. . The specs seem really bad. Would I be able to handle 50-100 people on the site at least 3x a week?

And dedicated server is not the need for your now.

Any professional hosting is enough for variable traffic.

Getting detailed info on this will definitely require your definitely user capacity .
I would go for a shared server since you say it's a small e-commerce site however I would advice you keep yourself abreast with users statistics so as to know when to move to a dedicated server. With dedicated server you enjoy a ton of benefits compared to what red server but it all depends on the cash you have

VPS Is Ok

Looking at your requirements, an VPS is def want you want to look into.

I would start with a KVM VPS if it were me. Then as the site grows you can bump the VPS up until it makes sense to move over to a Dedicated Server. No reason to spend all that extra money right now

Don’t waste your time! VPS is cheap and ok for you. Take time to grow up your site. You easy upgrade VPS and server if needed.

VPS is fine to handle your requests. Dedicated server is not needed for the mentioned details. Go with VPS with CentOS, it will be better for you.

With those traffic numbers a vps is fine. You can start off with 1gb ram and upgrade as needed.
