Hey there!
HOW do you optimize your website for voice search that is said to be all the rage in 2018?

40% of adults perform at least one voice search every day (https://www.branded3.com/blog/locationworld-2016/)
Voice searches performed in Google are up 35x since 2008 (https://searchenginewatch.com/2016/06/03/what-does-meekers-internet-trends-report-tell-us-about-voice-search/)
20% of all searches on mobile are voice searches (https://searchengineland.com/google-reveals-20-percent-queries-voice-queries-249917)

But first, your content needs to be on the first page, before you even think about voice optimization.

The fact that voice searches are centered around natural language, the queries posed to search engines are getting longer. 70% of requests on Google Assistant are in Natural/Conversational Languages. A conversational question that one puts to a smartphone personal assistant therefore tends to be more specific in nature.

There are a couple of factors that can help you in optimizing for voice search

including:

  • Google my business page
  • F&Q page which takes note of variety of questions using conversational long tail keywords.
  • Optimizing your website with long tail + keywords, as we call them. These are long tail keywords which people generally use in a conversation. You can also call them http://bit.ly/2oBaeeT keywords.
  • Schema mark up

Obviously that Google dominates desktop and mobile search.
But have you heard that Intelligent personal assistants are using Bing? Siri began using it when iOS 7 appeared, i.e. Bing was default search engine. That is why all user queries go to Bing.

Due to this Bing is worth your attention.
