How does a website like privacy generate virtual cards? For my use case virtual cards tend to be declined a lot. How does a website know when i'm using a virtual card? Ive noticed some virtual card providers are blocked by specific merchants. Would it be possible to create a virtual card generator to avoid merchant blocks?

Most likely not, since issuing banks use special algorithms that are decrypted on the side of the system that accepts the payment and shows whether it is a valid card, which payment system it is, and so on. Therefore, it is impossible to simply generate such a card, it would be too easy
