Viral group better than a viral fan page?

You can also sell fanpages, and get even more money than groups.
Fanpage is much more worthy.
 
in a group you have limit to the amount of people you can have in the group. Fan page is unlimited
 
In groups once you exceed 5k the power to direct message your members is gone, while in Fan pages even if it go millions, "update" features is still there.
 
This is true and people like fan pages because of these reasons.

I would like to mention though that groups have 1+ going for them. You can actually change the name of your group at anytime you cannot change the name of your fan page EVER!
 
Viral group is not better than viral fan page. Fan page is more worthy.
 
Is that how much a group that goes viral worth nowadays? Well as JohnCris says, nothing beats the fan page.
