It makes sense for people who want to sell services and/or have links in their signature, but don't want to wait till they meet the eligibility requirements for Jr.VIP membership.

I've given pretty detailed explanations regarding the benefits and differences between the donor membership levels in many previous threads.
Do a search for Keyword(s)="Jr.VIP vs Premium" by User Name="GreyWolf" to read some of those replies.
