I could swear I asked this, but can't find it. Must've been one of many times my post was "flagged" for "soliciting" Funny since I have nothing to sell.

Anyway, Anyone else been having an issue where they embed a vid with all the right settings and still ZERO embed views count?

Done with regular YT embed.

Done with chromeless YT embed.

User presses play.

No autoplay.

No js.

Tried with and without &enablejsapi=1 (or whatever it is that people say to enable)

Anyway... nothing. Hundreds of views from a few ip's and NONE count. EVERY view direct on page counts.

WEEKS have gone by. This isn't a delay issue, and it's not a 301 issue.

Anyone else had this problem? Did it get fixed? Is this a new issue?

YouTube probably thinks they're spam views and so are omitting them. Note that the user has to watch at least 10 seconds into the video for the view to count.

If I didn't mention, they were human watched from beginning to end. 100% view time.

HUNDREDS... from two different IP's. Human pressed play. No JS. Nothing else on the page. Literally just an otherwise blank html page with embed.

Embed views are not counted in real time even before you hit 300 views. So just wait 1 or 2 days

Once again, I've waited weeks. Not days. Weeks.

Nada.

As far as hundreds on two IP's, I had maybe six across two IP's for nearly a week of that... then tried a bunch more to be absolutely sure anything I saw wasn't just a random view being counted.

Hundreds of high retention views coming from only 2 different IPs can work on the YouTube watch page, but you will get the 301 lock.

If the HUNDREDS of views were coming from HUNDREDS of different unique IPs then your problem would be solved.

It's not 2009 anymore. YouTube is smarter than that.

Human or not. Any bot or imacros script can be programmed to watch a video to its entirety.

I think you're missing what I keep saying. It's not stuck at 301. It's not registering ANY views from embed. Not view #1. Not view#2. Zero... nowhere near 301 yet.

Yes, everything I can get my hands on says it will register all views up to 301 then audit... but it's not even doing that.

Basic HTML page. Nothing on it but a basic iframe embed. No javascript. No autoplay.

Human visits page and presses the big red play button and watches to the end.

Total views before this: 20 (all from views directly on yt page)
Total views after this: 20
Total views after doing this a hundred more times to make sure I'm not losing my mind: 20
Total views weeks later after waiting for it to update: 20

Youtube/Google block requests within their algorithm from ips, computer ids and networks their algorithms detect and unworthy to be tracked to due mass solicitation or apparent fraud usage of their data.

I would assume as much, but let's try to clarify. When it comes from a website embed, the IP in question is that of the website server, right? It's a new website that has literally never been used for anything before.

have you tried iframe embedding? they recently deprecated <object>/<embed>
