Hey everyone, I have been experiencing some pretty poor performance of my videos that I generated with AI. Has anyone else been feeling like their AI generated videos are being hidden or blacklisted?

Poor performance of AI-generated videos isn't necessarily due to being hidden or blacklisted. It can be influenced by platform algorithms, content quality, compliance with platform policies, content saturation, and user feedback. For better performance, you should focus on creating engaging, high-quality content, comply with platform guidelines, and disclose AI usage.

Thanks!

Be more specific, "AI video" is very broad.

Is it using a robot voice, is it 30 seconds, 4 minutes? Need more details to exchange any valuable insight.

My first guess would be that the videos are low quality and the people that watch it, realize it is low quality and quickly click away. A good quality video = someone watches it till the end. If people are immediately clicking away from your video, it tells the algorithm it's shit, and it is unlikely to keep recommending it to people ensuring more people will have a bad experience too.

All my channels are AI-enhanced or AI-assisted.

I use AI voice and AI images, but the actual animation is done by hand and I use stock footage.

In terms of the script, I am helped by AI but it's manually edited and, in many cases, greatly rewritten.

I'm giving you this background just to provide context for the answer that I'm gonna give to your question.

I see a pattern where there's an initial spike, and then it levels off.

Sometimes it continues to go up, especially if my videos get likes, or there's a lot of comments and interaction, or it just hits a level and just drags sideways.

That means that it's not getting any traction after a certain point.

If that's what you mean, there is a little bit of good news, at least from my experience.

In one of my channels, (which is currently monetized, not the ones that have a journey thread on here), there are times when it will proceed to go up.

So you have to wait for some time and then it will go up.

The chart is kind of weird because at first, it's a hockey-stick pattern and then it flattens out for a while and it spikes up again then flattens out.

I seriously believe that it's some sort of Sandbox effect with YouTube.
