I agree with this.
I am new to SEO but have quite a bit experience with youtube rankings. My main income is PPD/CPA. Last month i bought a SEO tool and start building backlinks to one of my old FRENCH video having 5k views.
The video was 2 months old at that time and had been stuck at 5k views from 1 month.

I started building backlinks to it as a test to my new software, and suddenly after a week, i started getting those big 18-20$ lead almost every other day. 2days back, it was ranking no1 in google and got me some decent clicks(all french, precious clicks ). It made me some 200$ in 1 month. The day it was ranked no1, it was flagged and removed by competitors
Last i checked it had 7,700 views. So some 2.7k legit FRENCH views in 1 month.

My point is, it takes time to rank YT videos to google, but it can sure be achieved by building QUALITY Backlinks.

Technically 1 month results= 111+99= 210$ in 1 month.. not bad

Mostly social bookmarks and social networks. Did not have any strict filters and it kept building links for 1 week.
Ahrefs showed some 500 verified backlinks in 2-3 days of link building. It kept ranking itself as more and more links were verified.

Maybe the channel age is the reason, some videos are upto 2 years old

Even I also have this problem regarding ranking in youtube as well as in google.

Though this seems to be true in case of few of my videos, there are still videos, which are outranking me with 10K links and not even 1000 views.
Also another case, my video with 112K views and great backlinks, outranked by vid with 30K with just web 2.0s with pretty much same domains repeating all over.
Another - My video with 70K outranked by vid with 4K etc.
I doubt that views have that much of an impact on Google serps. If any.
I am trying to figure out why are my videos being outranked but crappy vids, but I haven't been able to do so for the past 2 months. Was hoping that the views could be it... but it seems they are not.

Also, last time when I tried to add some views to my older video... it got removed and it had never happened to me with this kind of videos so... it's not even that safe.

i also checked now the ranking and doupt as well that views are the most govering. there are videos with 2000 views outranking videos with 120.000.

the more i check the ranks in youtube the more confused i am
