VIDEO: Is my Hrefer setup correct?

Hi Gang,

I hope you can help me with this. I'm not sure I've setup Hrefer correctly so I made a video of what's happening now. I haven't slept in a while but I did notice I called Hrefer by the wrong name in the video. I'm running on pizza and red bull.

It looks just fine man. The speed at which it harvests is directly affected by the proxies you have and their speeds.
I usually get 50k in 6-7 hours.. but as I said.. it depends..

words: When you search google for them, what I've noticed is that after getting 20k words google will ban your ip for a while so that's why no new ones come up.
when this happens, go to google.com and see if you have to enter a captcha.

additive words: those are the words that you want to append to the "words" during the search. If you look at options, query settings.. you'll see that you can change theorder.

I can't tell by the vid resolution, but do you have 50 threads in max parser threads?

I use 10.. more will just slow it down, get the proxies banned, etc...
I found 10 as a good number for that.. although theoretically hrefer will limit the threads automatically.

Thanks Cheescake! It's actually set to 10. Yeah, Youtube blows for resolution. Is there a way to pause Hrefer, add better and more proxies, and then start again? Also, how many good forms should I collect before taking it to Xrumer?

sure... 2 things:

1st: go to proxyc folder and edit the txt file and add sites that list fresh proxies. Use google. Say website1.com has lists, but has many pages, add those too. (ex: website1.com/page2.html)

2nd: hrefer will download and check proxies automatically. I don't know the time interval but it does that. If you want to do it manually, just hit stop, check proxies, when its finished, start again.. it'll resume.

Is the speed at which hrefer gathers links limited only by the proxies?

Is hrefer limited to 2 computers / 2 IPs the way XRumer is?

The proxies are a important isue, but in this one I guess this is not only the issue.
I don't know If hrefer is only limited two 2 IP's, but I'm not willing to test it
Ip's is enough for me.
