What would be a good free video editing software.
Similar to what Audacity is to audio.

One that is free and it works fine is DaVinci Resolve, I have used it sometimes and it did its work.

OP, all of the aforementioned products ARE NOT free.

Moreover, I do not believe there is a FREE video editing software, (worth anything).

That stated, find a way to get a student discount, and then purchase the Adobe Suite. Adobe Premier Pro CC and After Effects are the way to go.

Adobe Spark = Free

Both pretty useful. Not sure what your talking about.

Get a nice Intro, and Outro made on Fiverr. Then use Adobe clip to combine your clips. You can use OBS for recording, and other stuff you need. Depends what type of recording/editing your doing.

Blackhatword... why you want to use free?
I mean you can get cracked copies. When you have money you can buy legit copy.

If you are specifically searching for free software I doubt you can find software with
good features.

Just search for best free video editing software, some good sites would've compiled the list.

blizz301o, the "2" products that you mentioned have limited capabilities.

Adobe Spark, as noted here, has a free version and a paid version:

We all know why companies offer a free and a paid version, eh?

Adobe Clip, better known as Adobe Premier Clip, was made for mobile editing. People who have downloaded and used this app, know that it was (really) designed to work in conjunction with Adobe Premier Pro CC.

To be clear, neither of those to apps have the features or scalability in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or some other the other top tier video editing software applications.

In terms of being useful, they serve a limited purpose in the video editing landscape.

If the OP plans on doing professional videos, unless he can find a cracked version, an educational discount, or find a sweet deal VIA BHW, he will need to dole out some cash.

Another option might be, Windows Movie Maker; but I believe that was clipped by Microsoft back in January of 2017.

If you're looking for free software then expect a crappy one or download video editing app on your play/apple store watermark on it and low quality. This is business my friend, and if you want quality, you better invest and pay for it.

Adobe Premiere Pro is the standard. If you get an Adobe CC package you can also get Adobe Audition which is like a much nicer premium version of Audacity and integrates with the software nicely.

If you're looking for free, then maybe iMovie could be tolerable.
