    Hey guys.

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update on the brand new Google SideWiki and how you can use this tool today for your benefit.

It's a great way for you to funnel traffic from high traffic websites(or any other website) to your site(s), as well as get some good backlinks, and also build authority within any niche.

    I hope you enjoy it.

Sorry if I sound a little off.

I had a really bad day today, so I was spacing out a little.
But I wanted to get this video out to you my fellow BHWers as soon as possible since this new tool is such a great opportunity for anyone.

    Code:
    http://www.superaffiliatestrategy.com/videos/googlesidewiki/googlesidewiki.html
P.S. I hope this is ok. The video is on my blog. I tried to get it onto YouTube, but the video was too long.

This is in no way an attempt to get visitors to my blog! Just wanted to make a helpful post for BHW.

I think at the moment only the only people who use sidewiki are webmasters. Most popular sites that see millions of visitors every months barely have any comments.

Yep. Which is why the timing is perfect to start using this tool to make money. I am already seeing a spike in hits from on a few test runs I have done.

Hmmm...Maybe use headphones? I checked the vid on my side, and the sound is ok...

Well, I think it is best to go to all of your sites and make the first post welcoming visitors to your site! Builds Credo!

I don't think you would want to do that with your own sites. It would be blatantly promoting them, and that would probably cut down your reputation.

The best way to go about it would be using different accounts and names to make positive posts about your own sites.

This will make you appear as an authority figure and would also make your rep go up.

    Just a quick update:

    Google SideWiki links are Nofollow.

This doesn't mean that it's not still useful. You can still get traffic to your sites since it is getting more and more popular by the day.

Also(this is pretty big), Google is indexing Sidewiki posts.

I recommend you continue(if you haven't started, do it now)to spend a few minutes a day using SideWiki to drop your links on high traffic sites related to your niches.

You will start to see more traffic to your sites.

Some sites not anything too significant; others I saw some spikes.
It depends on the niche mostly and of course the site used.

I would say on average, I have added an extra 30-100 uniques a day give or take a few.

This would be great for low PR niches.Throw your cpa offers on your site. And go to Google news and grab news thats just posted and use a good article spinner and post multiple postings to your site or blog. You should get great traffic with this.

I think I would be wary of this as it could possibly remind/ encourage your website visitors to use the Sidewiki which is fine as long as they like your site. If they don't like your site or your products or services, then you might just be encouraging negative comments.

I can understand the way that some people are very fearful of their sites being undermined by negative comments in such an incredibly easy way but I just see it as another opportunity to get traffic by adding useful comments & information to websites.

The http://www.bbc.co.uk website is getting some comments now.

It's great how you can Sidewiki on specifc pages! Just tried wikipedia!

    Another quick update,

It appears you do not have to be logged in to see comments in SideWiki. As long as you have the Google toolbar, you can view comments.

Also, it looks as if you can post comments on different sections of each page i.e. the last 2 paragraphs of a page.

I got an email with a video and a PDF from Howie Schwartz about SideWiki like 3 days after my video. I can't believe I beat Howie to the punch!:p

Is anyone seeing any traffic from their Sidewiki exploits?
I've only put up about 10 Sidewikis on high traffic sites, but yet to see any traffic from them. I know this tool will get better with age but just wondering if it's working for others.

I did find out that putting a Sidewiki comment on yell.com under a certain category like 'Painters in Blackpool' does not work, as your comment gets stored on the Dynamic URL which changes everytime the search is done. Worth a try though.
