[Very Small Case Study] Comparing the 4 main plagiarism checkers ✅

Hey guys,

So, I was having a conversation with @MisterF about comparing plagiarism checkers. Afterwards, I figured I'd do a small comparison on what the 4 main checkers give me with a few different articles.

The plagiarism checkers I compared in this thread:

- QueText.
- Copyscape.
- Grammarly.
- SmallSEOTools.


So, here are the results from the first article:​

Results summary:

Both Grammarly premium & QueText give somewhat similar responses to plagiarism analysis. Article 1 returned 13% plagiarism from Quetext and 8% from Grammarly. While showing 0% plagiarism from SmallSEOTools & Copyscape.
In fact, Copyscape returned 0% on all three articles that I ran through this test.

Upon inspecting, QueText has a more convenient plagiarism sentence inspection within the results:

Too long didn't read: Ran three articles through 4 plagiarism checkers. Quetext & Grammarly showed similar results, where as Copyscape & SmallSEOTools showed little to no results.

I purchased the Quetext yesterday for my writers. Seeing the thread now I thought I made a wrong choice .

Now glad I did.
 
I have suggested many sellers here too use it too, and some made the switch and they’re amazed too cause sellers that use quetext would get more orders as chances of plagrism is reduced almost entirely. Hopefully someday marketplace will have quetext as default.
 
Why SEOs would like to get copyscape than quetext or other tools if copyscape are not able to even fi within 3n articles.

I've been using grammarly plagiarism checker since the i found out about grammarly, i guess it was the right choice.

It very much is. I was surprised at ZERO results across all three articles here. I figured it'd have ~2% or something lower, but zero? I want to remove all Copyscape suggestions.

Personally, I like their UI better than Grammarly. I like the exact words of plagiarism right there in front of me so I can crtl+F in a Word document & rewrite it on the spot.

I prefer QueText, but Grammarly does the job as well.

If you are already using Grammarly, then that would suffice.

We binned Crappyscape years ago, it is so outdated and flawed.

I appreciate it, man. I was surprised at how behind the competition Copyscape was here. I really hope they don't have real clientele.

I remember in 2019/2020, I would get plagiarism results with Copyscape. SmallSEOTools wasn't bad for a free option, either. QueText over all in my opinion, but it's nice to know that a free options exists over an archaic Copyscape.

Every tried running with 1text.com ?

it’s my writers nightmare so I stopped using it and move to quetext .

Why does your writer need to use a plagiarism checker? As a writer, they shouldn't have to worry about uniqueness if they're writing quality articles because quality articles will always be 100% unique assuming it doesn't include any quotes.

With millions of articles published daily and more still getting indexed. There are chances of using the same phrase coming up with contents
