Verified Success: No Hands Seo - MY case study

Nothing is done? During the time that nothing was done I moved the 4 No Hands domains, login systems and databases to a supposed DDoS protected server which was not up to th etask despite being sold as DDoS protected and then moved it to a bigger server with better protection. During all of this time I kept everyone notified of what was happening.

There was a lot more happening behind the scenes and ultimately the only thing that really took any time was for the domains to propagate those 2 times and the servers were not down any longer than necessary and were up for hours at a time in this time anyway.

To say nothing was being done quite frankly pisses me off. I know it is annoying when something you pay for is not usable but the orignal login system and software has been totally usable since 2011, 4 years virtually uninterrupted use, a couple of days of intermittent issues really is not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. It has since been running smooth as ever with the new server and there is nothing to suggest there will be any change any time soon.

@misterlo - the quality of the posting content is not as high as you would get by a paid writer but it is fine for link building.

dude don't even waste your breath on people like that. I deal with these kind of people daily and they have no idea what's going on. The people that know you know ur a good guy. That's why you have people still buying your older software like no hand and your new domain finder.

This service is dead since a few days now and nothing is done. What can I say more ?

The software never stopped working for me. If you had it running on your system it continued to work. It's unfortunate when you are the victim of a malicious attack but to the developers credit, he has moved quickly to resolve the issues. Granted, the forum and blog are not yet up, but the software continues to run and produce links.

Figured I'd revisit this thread after a bunch of years :) Everyone loves an update right? Truth be told, and yes it's the truth, NHSEO performed better than I ever expected - it was a proof of concept for me that actually worked well. I ended up selling the website a couple of years ago after I let that site "bake" for 4 months. Some backstory: I targeted a micro-niche service in my area (think "Electricians") and built a real website for a fully non-existing company :) But I built it with the intention to sell after getting first page ranking for many keywords and then contacted, i think, it was 4 or 5 people on page 2 and 3 whose sites weren't doing so well. I did this for several websites, but the initial case study here was my jewel since it was my first :). If memory serves me correct, the buy/sell for this was $2,800...and considering the time and effort I put into this site (more time spent customizing the wordpress and contact form plugins), this was a good deal.

Might revisit this case study with another new site soon. Getting that 'itch' again :D

My question is how do you approach selling the site to them? Also you say "built it with the intention to sell" does that mean you put bogus info for contact etc?

Woah cody, where the fuck you been mate. I'm gonna send you a PM about something now.

Took an offline sabbatical..sold a lot of my online properties, bought some offline properties, handled some investments..and like i said..my wife dragged me back online :D Couldn't stay away from the itch to create, sell, rinse, repeat. Thankfully still have a couple of tools left and some godaddy domains I can play with. Looks like not much has changed, except for most of the tools have gone paid subscription, web hosted based versus good ole desktop run windows executables.

Not a bad idea at all! What did you put on the contact info sheet? Could be a good idea to sell leads while you're trying to rank and sell the site. Welcome back, Cody!

Basic form template like this:

Try to keep it under a page, give the right amount of soft touch and show the value add to the sell. There's a couple of tactics at play here in the ad..guys who have been around for awhile will spot a couple :) And there's always room to bargain, like I said, the offer went out for $3,500, but I closed at around $2,800 if memory serves me right.

Oh, the beauty of this system is that you can have 10-15 (or more if you can personally scale out the endeavor) of these local moneymakers growing and then sell off when the time is right. Before i took my little sabbatical I sold off 8 sites that baked for 4-6 months. Again, if memory serves me correctly, I cleared probably close to 27-28k. Not a bad intake for set and forget local sites.

Oh, the reason I wasn't (still not) interested in selling leads...too time intensive. I have literally so much going on offline that my online endeavors need to be stupid simple and repeatable with minimal engagment..hence why I like the "micro site bake" approach :)

Awesome job man, is no hands seo a paid subscription now? Most of the posts I find about it on BHW are older (a couple of years old).

I don't think so, jim would know..i'm sure he'll pipe in. I know he still supports it.

Oh, one other tidbit too..lol, isn't this something that should be sold as a WSO (do people still do that?), is that you should target those niches that can actually afford to spend good money on a website. You're not here to take payments, or barter for good, you're here to make money. That's it. No need to show someone a Cadillac if all they can afford is a Corrola..just 'sayin. And once you get them on the phone, suggest that the expenditure can come out of their op-x budget versus their cap-x budget. Operationals can be tax written off in the same year they acquire the asset. Makes the purchase that much easier to digest

Great tip on the last part! I didn't think about the write off aspect.

Does it still work on an old pc? Also were you pointing to the money site or lesser tiers? Cheers.

Does this work better for Web 2.0, or like wordpress type websites?

Look who's back, back again...

Going to update this thread (has it really been 4 years since I started it?) with another project case study. Just created a site last week. It'll be a hybrid adsense revenue/local "fake" business" site. Again, as before I'm just tossing NHSEO at it. I know the seo world is still about Web 2.0's and Ranker-X amongst other programs, but what about NHSEO? Does it still have what it takes to get a low hanging website to climb the serp ranks with minimal to moderate competition? Stay tuned!

I opened this thread expecting to hammer some noob who had bumped an ancient post!:D

Good to see you coming back to update your own thread after this long.

Yea, I'm not a thread necro guy just for the hell of it. I mean, if i were THAT guy it'd be something like this

Thread: Get in on VENOMSEO today for Lifetime License - "Hey guys, can I have a review copy?!?"

But you get my point :)

I'm all about proof of concepts right now. I'm trying to see what works and will spend the immediate money to do so. I think in terms of niche market rankability, my gut tells me that NHSEO might be able to get me immediate index inclusion, and then some other form of automation might be worthwhile to speed up the rank process after the fact. Again, it's just a tool that I can leave on set and forget. Not really worried too much about penalies due to the settings I'm employing the program. Not looking for magic, just keeping realistic expectations.

Figure, I built the new site over the last 6 days, kicked off NHSEO 2 days ago and voila..at least it shows index inclusion..and yes, we all know it'll shake out. But this sort of supercharges the beginning of the seo process.

So you're still doing direct linking?

Doing tiered within the program.
