Verified Instagram

I have a verified IG on my name and want to turn it into my OF model's main IG, but still I want to keep it verified.

Is there any way to change the name of the IG accs into the model's name or no name at all and be accepted? Because obviously when I try to change the name they ask for my ID picture, so I can't really put my model's name on it that easily.

I see a lot of profiles from OF girls verified, and im sure there must be a way to convert it without trouble.

You can change the name on your IG account, but since it’s verified, Instagram may ask for ID verification. To keep it verified, you may need to contact Instagram support and explain the situation. Many OF models have verified accounts, so it’s possible but can take some time.

For that, you may have to contact the meta support team to get the name changed, especially since you are saying that the account is meta verified. The purpose of that is to make sure you are who you say you are on the account to keep it safe.

Some creators keep their real name in the handle or bio and just rebrand the content gradually. Another route is to apply for verification again under the model’s name once the content shift is done but there’s no guarantee. Might be safer to keep your current verified account as-is and build the OF brand on a fresh profile.

but if i contact them and tell them that im putting another persons name and using my ID, they will not let me right? because they want the account to have my name matching my ID

It's available to change the name of the account with profile setting option,change of username not possible after creation of and verify of profile.
can wait on other suggestions if there is option for the username change.

I can't change the name because it wont be matching my ID mate

but i think they won't let me verify another person's name and profile under my ID ): will they?

Changing your IG name doesn’t require verifying with an ID picture, right? I still change my name frequently. Or were you referring to the username? Typically, changing these details doesn’t require ID verification. How long has your account been active? Have you had any actions that might have violated IG’s policies before?

If your verified IG is under your real name, converting it directly into a model alias risks losing the badge. Sometimes it doesn't happen but generally you will lose the badge for a while as IG checks for identity consistency. A better path might be slowly rebranding if you could get around to it (bio, content, public mentions, that sort of thing) while keeping the real name in the backend. Eventually, if your model persona gains public recognition, you can try re-verifying under that name.
Many OF models with verified IGs either purpose built their profiles as creators right from the start or have enough PR footprints under their handle names. Unless you have media links or public mentions for your model name, a full switch and keeping the badge might be tricky.
