Vegetarians

Wow, I dont think you know what your talking about. I dont know where to start, in fact i wont even address any of this. There is not one accurate statement in anything you just said, not one. You must be googling some anti vegan sites that are not based on any kind of facts. You can easily find that all the stuff you just wrote is completely wrong by doing another google search for those finds. You are trying to make things complicated, and in doing so, you are digging up a lot of un truths. Do yourself a favor and keep it simple, find out the truth before you blurb out things.
I love it! complain about no one debating with facts, and then fail to ever provide any sort of facts yourself! hahahaha you are a trip!

I do know what I am talking about. I produce my own food, unlike you, who "gets everything you need from the store". You have shown on every single post in this thread that you know absolutely nothing about food production besides what google spoon feeds you.

Sit down before you hurt yourself, and let the big boys do the talking. k?

You absolutely cannot show me that anything I said was wrong. How many animals are killed every year growing your soy? uh huh...

How many animals were killed for my rabbit dinner? ONE. your veggie burger pack kills more animals than I do in a whole month!

The funny thing is that you actually think eating vegan causes less suffering! ahahaha lmao! that's hilarious, dude!

Growing the veggies you eat from the packages in the store kills billions of animals every single year. Farmers call them pests. You call them collateral damage.

90+% of all soy grown in the US is GM. yum, yum. and you're still talking about healthy? uh huh...

Again, I pose these questions to you:
Why are there no vegan civilizations? Why are there no long-term vegan cultures? Why do vegan parents average lower birth weights than their contemporary counterparts? Why do vegans exhibit higher rates of mental illness? Why do vegans exhibit increases in tooth decay?

still avoiding those uncomfortable questions?

Stop denying who and what you are. You are a human (I presume...), thus you are an omnivore (even if you are vegan). Feeding a cat lettuce doesn't make him an herbivore, and being vegan doesn't change what you are. Embrace yourself!

I think it's a very big risk to take for people that just want to "jump" into it without knowing the health risks. It's a great sense of will power.

Vegans...well, that's tough lol

You really have no clue what your talking about. Most discussions on bhw are very intelligent, but i have to say reading your post lowers ones IQ. I dont answer questions that dont deserve an answer. The same way you googled your wrong information, the same way you can luck up how wrong you are. You seek to demonize people that are trying to promote less killing and suffering, and somehow you think you are right for doing so since you found wrong information to try to debunk there efforts. Most all of what you are saying have already been answered right in the posts in this thread and in the vid i just posted. You are very wrong and you are the type of person who needs to do some deep reflecting before you speak

I love it! complain about no one debating with facts, and then fail to ever provide any sort of facts yourself! hahahaha you are a trip!
Everytime i say i will not respond to these ignorant, uninformed, childish post, i find myself breaking my own rules smh. Here we go. Its you who is not showing facts. You are making claims with no proof. You spew out old iformation from anti vegan sites that are innacurate. I have came across these false info over and again and on my journey to where i am today. The same way i googled anti vegan info, the same way i googled the refutes to these findings. What i am saying is quite simple and can be observed easily. You are the one trying to make things complicated since its the only way you can excuse your point of view.
I do know what I am talking about. I produce my own food, unlike you, who "gets everything you need from the store". You have shown on every single post in this thread that you know absolutely nothing about food production besides what google spoon feeds you.

You keep telling me what I do. This is a very childish way to debate and i have been ignoring it. I know a good amount about food production because where i am is upstate with many farms. I have choices to buy from local farms and also from big chain markets. I get a lot of my fruits and veggies direct from the farm. I do not know what information you are talking about that i googled. My information is clear and easily observable. You on the other hand make claims that are unfounded, and also tell others what they do or believe. This leads me to think that you are not the kind of person that anyone likes to be around.

You absolutely cannot show me that anything I said was wrong. How many animals are killed every year growing your soy? uh huh...

You are really trying to make people believe that killing animals kill less animals then avoiding killing them right? You believe that this movement to cause less suffering is what is causing the suffering right? Smh, you have a lot of growing up to do. You are so sure that its the vegans who will eat the mass distributed farmed goods arent you? The vegans I know usually buy from organic locally grown small farms. If someone is consiouse enough to be vegan, of course they are conscious enough to buy organic, non gmo foods, leaving GMO foods for the less conscientious. Also do you realize that most the soy and grains grown are to feed the animals that are being raised for human consumption? Over 70% of what grows is for the animal feed. So its goes back to where is the real root to the suffering and killing.

Again, I pose these questions to you:
Why are there no vegan civilizations? Why are there no long-term vegan cultures?
Still googling wrong anti vegan info i see, i came across these arguments many times and see they are just excuses that hold no water. What does it matter about long tern civilizations? Why do you like to live in the past? We make our future and anything is possible if we put our minds to it. Move forwards. Plus you are wrong, there are many non eating civilizations both now and in the past. This was brushed upon in this post http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blackhat-lounge/479364-vegetarians-3.html#post4661098 [/QUOTE]

Why do vegan parents average lower birth weights than their contemporary counterparts? Why do vegans exhibit higher rates of mental illness? Why do vegans exhibit increases in tooth decay?
I do not know why do vegan parents average lower birth rates, nor do i think its a serious problem. Birth weights very greatly from child to child based on what i have seen.

Vegans have mental illness? I think that is just hateful and wicked propaganda. People try to stop activism so they will always spread lies to hinder there efforts. Calling someone crazy is the wurst thing to do, it nullifies all that they say.

Like i have said many times, just because someone is vegan/vegetarian, doesnt mean they are healthy. Not much people being vegan know how to go about it in a healthy way. Not all foods considered to be vegan are healthy. But no way does eating many fruits and veggies cause tooth decay. Even if you were to google that and see that, you would have to be foolish to believe that propaganda. Did your dentist ever tell you to stay away from fruits and veggies cus its bad for your teeth? Or was it stay away from sweets and refined sugars and drinks? Snap out of it

still avoiding those uncomfortable questions?

Stop denying who and what you are. You are a human (I presume...), thus you are an omnivore (even if you are vegan). Feeding a cat lettuce doesn't make him an herbivore, and being vegan doesn't change what you are. Embrace yourself!

As a human, we are apes by definition. We do not need meat to survive. Many vegans/vegetarians prove this all the time. They are extremely healthy and live long. You want to believe you are omnivorous but there is no real proof of that. Did you watch the vid i posted? Quite simple, and a very true video. Nothing complicated, just easily understood, observable truth.

Very immature, but Its fine that you find it hilarious. Its easy to talk and laugh when you havent really suffered. I hope you have a friend when when its your turn to come face to face with death and have to walk down that dark alley.

But I am not the one dying, or suffering, But i know how it feels to suffer and come close to dying. Giving the little guy a voice is nothing to me. Trying is the least i could do

lmao. Whatever you say mate.

By the way...
What the fuck are anti vegan internet sites?
Is the site of the university of stanford is a "anti vegan propaganda" site?

Somehow you really live in your own world. Reminds me of some kind of cult, lol.

(PS: Watch out. You never know when these evil meat eaters gonna strike! :O)

I eat vegetarian. I noticed weight differences, and just overall feel better having cut meat from my diet. Also, I've been able to eat logical portions of food.

You are making claims with no proof.
where are your citations? Facts don't require citation, opinions do. If my claims are so wrong, where is your proof to the contrary?

I know a good amount about food production because where i am is upstate with many farms. I have choices to buy from local farms and also from big chain markets. I get a lot of my fruits and veggies direct from the farm.
I am a food producer. You stated that everything one needs "could be bought at the store". Your knowledge of farming comes from briefly seeing farmers at farmers markets? You obviously don't know jack shit about food production.

You have yet to show that ANY of my claims are unfounded.

I am not trying to make anyone believe anything. I don't have to. The facts speak for themselves. Billions of animals are killed every year to produce vegetables and grains, even on organic farms. Just because they are organic farms does not mean they don't kill pests. Again, your ignorance about food production is showing...

My rabbit dinner caused one death. Your veggie burger caused billions. That's a fact.

I don't use commercial animal feeds for my animals. And that 70% where's your citation? uh huh...

The fact remains that the majority of soy is grown for SOYBEAN OIL, and the waste product, soy meal is fed to animals. That does not mean they are growing soy to feed animals. Soybean oil has a significantly higher value than soy meal, and is the principle product. Soy oil is used primarily for human consumption and biofuel. so, animal production systems that feed soy are actually making use of your WASTE PRODUCT. you're still clueless...

Plus you are wrong, there are many non eating civilizations both now and in the past.
There are no VEGAN civilizations. Name one vegan culture/civilization. Just one.

There are vegetarian cultures, and they still consume a large number of animal products (eggs, dairy, insects, etc). Even so, they have only existed for a few thousand years, AT MOST. Meat eating has been around for 1.5 MILLION YEARS. Veganism is relatively new, spanning at most a century. So, you cannot claim a more healthier approach, because you do not have several generations of vegans to compare to the thousands of generations of meat eaters.
I do not know why do vegan parents average lower birth rates, nor do i think its a serious problem. Birth weights very greatly from child to child based on what i have seen.
These are AVERAGE birth weights, and yes, it does matter. It shows that they are lacking nutrients from their diet, as their offspring are born smaller.

Vegans have mental illness? I think that is just hateful and wicked propaganda. People try to stop activism so they will always spread lies to hinder there efforts. Calling someone crazy is the wurst thing to do, it nullifies all that they say.
Vegans have higher rates of mental illness than their meat eating counterparts. It is not calling someone crazy, it is showing that again, there are nutrients lacking in a vegan diet that lead to severe issues. The human brain evolved around the nutrients from meat. When you take that out of the equation, illness is the result.

Like i have said many times, just because someone is vegan/vegetarian, doesnt mean they are healthy. Not much people being vegan know how to go about it in a healthy way. Not all foods considered to be vegan are healthy. But no way does eating many fruits and veggies cause tooth decay. Or was it stay away from sweets and refined sugars and drinks? Snap out of it
again, this is another issue that shows lack of nutrients. It's not that fruits and vegetables are bad for your teeth, it's that the lack of proper vitamins (D3, A from fat, etc) and minerals affects your health.

As a human, we are apes by definition.
our closest relatives, chimpanzees, regularly eat meat, mostly in the form of insects and small vertebrates. Even gorillas, which are almost vegans, still eat insects. Our digestive system differs greatly than that of the other apes, as well.

They are extremely healthy and live long.
proof, please. there is no study that shows that vegans outlive their meat eating counterparts.

You want to believe you are omnivorous but there is no real proof of that.
yes there is. Our digestive systems, our long history of eating meat, our teeth, our brain size, etc. No anthropologist or zoologist would categorize humans as herbivores. They are omnivores, plain and simple.

still avoiding the uncomfortable questions, huh?

where are your citations? Facts don't require citation, opinions do. If my claims are so wrong, where is your proof to the contrary?

I answered all of your questions. This thread answered all of your questions, and the same way you googled bad things about being a vegan, the same way you can google your findings to see how you are wrong.

I didnt say organic farming wont kill criters, i said that its a solution to GMO's . I said that buy from small, non industrail farms help that. The whole reasons you even know about these topics is because people such as vegans have brought them to light in the first place.

I do not need to show proof, you can easily google the findings yourself. And again, for the 5th time, what i say is simple, no need for proof, all you need is a thinking brain. The video i showed didnt need any proof, very simple, all you need is a thinking brain. I guess that would be hard for someone like you to do, to sit still and think is a big thing for you, but just try it some time. I answered all your questions, dont know why your repeating yourself so much. Re read what i sent and try to put the pieces together, you are making up what you want to read in your head and jumping to conclusions. You claim i say things i never said, which makes me think your someone nobody likes to deal with. I can tell your an unpleasant person to be around, and i have a feeling the people that do deal with you probably do so because they have no choice. Again I advise you to think before you speak, because you speak of things you know nothing about, the more you speak, the more you are showing you know nothing really.

This discussion is like Christians against Atheists. Vegan as Christians trying to tell what to eat.

This guy is really talking about facts...

Topless vegan guy to the rescue! LMAO

I answered all of your questions. This thread answered all of your questions, and the same way you googled bad things about being a vegan, the same way you can google your findings to see how you are wrong.
I haven't googled anything. You have failed to answer even one of my questions. you just try and deflect. deflection is not answering. And even then, you fail miserably.

The whole reasons you even know about these topics is because people such as vegans have brought them to light in the first place.
you have said some really ridiculous things on this thread, but this one takes the cake. Vegans brought us GM awareness and organic farming?!?!?! hahahahahahaha that is such a load of bullshit. I have to admit, you are really good at pulling nonsense out of your ass.

You know, before about 1930, everything was organic farming (they just called it "farming"), and there were no vegans around, bud.

I do not need to show proof, you can easily google the findings yourself
yet, you demand that others show proof, huh? Why are you above needing proof? uh huh...

And again, for the 5th time, what i say is simple, no need for proof, all you need is a thinking brain
that hasn't worked so well for you. Let me tell you a bit about how science works. We have this thing called "evidence". "Evidence" is required to support a claim. You have gone off with several claims that contradict conventional nutrition and health theories. YOU have to provide proof to support those claims. Conventional theory doesn't have to prove you are wrong, they have already shown evidence for their arguments. You are the challenger. So, give us some proof.

And by the way.... a scrawny dude from youtube does not count as evidence. I want studies, from universities, that show causation, not simply correlation. You bring that to the table, and you MIGHT have an argument. Without it, you are just spewing nonsense.

And I know why you haven't brought that evidence up. BECAUSE IT DOESN'T EXIST! There are no studies, anywhere, from credible sources, that show a causation that veganism leads to a healthier human. The best you can do is fine vegans who eat organic/non-GM are slightly healthier than people who eat pure junk food. And even then, that's just correlation, not causation.

I answered all your questions
where? not one question answered!

no need for proof
I especially like this one! "no need to prove anything folks, just take my word for it!"

Re read what i sent and try to put the pieces together, you are making up what you want to read in your head and jumping to conclusions. typical reply from someone who knows they have a weak argument. You fail to show any sort of evidence to support your arguments, so you start on the personal attacks, saying how we "don't think", we don't "need proof", "unpleasant person", "know nothing", etc.

That's when you know someone's argument is unraveling. They can't face up to the uncomfortable truths, like that veganism carries severe risks to your health. Instead of showing us ANYTHING to the contrary, they start in on how the rest of us are dumb and can't see the "truth".

lmao

This discussion is like Christians against Atheists. Vegan as Christians trying to tell what to eat.
I think this is like athiest vs christians except i think vegans are more like the athiests(wich i am). Christians want to think its ok to kill for there own cause and that there way is the right way. Vegans are just saying, hey dude, dont you realize that we are hurting the other little guys around us? Doesnt that suck? shouldnt we do something about it. Meat eaters(christians) are like, well its our right to kill them, God said we can do it, who cares about how they feel(literally and/or figuratively).

I am not going to answer your questions wexzone , you dont know facts if it landed in your lap. You are trying to demonize a movement that is trying to protect other beings rights. Its because of the people who care about the little guy that many laws are passed and that many things are done to protect them. Instead of trying to fix a problem , you want it to continue. Every day activists and vegans are working towards reducing suffering, it is because such like ones things are improving and continue to improve. You guys are finding excuses, and clinging to irrelavant things rather then finding a real solution. While you want the status quo to continue, many others are moving ahead of you as a civilized people. So i am now glad to ignore Black.Star and wexzone childish questions and comments and i am willing to address any other thinking persons questions or comments

I stopped reading you and your compadre's post because i realize that you two dont know what your talking about. All i see is that you are repeating the same old arguments over and over again. You dont know what your talking about, so you cant expect others to know either

Well. Have a nice day then. The discussion was quite amusing.

looks like someone got their feelings hurt when people actually start questioning their ridiculous assumptions...
