I would like to clarify your tip. If I post answers and put my website in the sources section, do I get a quality link to my website? Or, it is a Do Not Follow link that really provides no quality link?
It is easy for me to answer questions because I own a property management company. There are tons of questions. However, I am not looking for traffic. I am looking for high PR links.

tonight I answered 5 questions out of Y!s max of 5... the first three the link showed up as a clickable link, then the 4th one was all there, but wasnt clickable, then the 5th link was too long, so i shortened it with bitly, why would my last couple not show up as clickable if the first three did?
All 5 of these answers stand a good chance to be chosen best answer.
Link 1 was a direct link to a site
Link 2 was a deep link to a relevant page within site on Link 1
Link 3 was a direct link to site on Link 1
Link 4 was basic affiliate link
Link 5 was EPN Link that needed shortened with bitly
why the hyperlink missing in 4 and 5 ?
All 5 of these answers stand a good chance to be chosen best answer.

Yep i gonna try this as well i might use like 3 accounts and answer questions like 20 per 1 account, posting my links on the answers, thanks for the tip.

Its good for getting traffic, but as an seo backlink they have no value.
You have to be carful that you dont create questions to answer also, because if the title of the question has your desired keyords in they can outrank your site, and its dam hard to outrank a yahoo answers.

very true.......maybe this one of the rule to avoid getting banned too.

Lol what did you do to get banned? If you answer too fast, use the same links or anchor text, you're just looking for trouble. Also, if you're going to answer a lot of questions, it's wise to have more than one account and you must use proxies or answer from different IP's.
I' use YA all of the time and haven't been banned yet using the technique I just mentioned. I don't post links in the body of the answer but in the "source" box. The link is still viewable to all who read your answers.

I see to post a link you have to be a level 2 account or above? I answered two questions and my link is not clickable. I looked it up and it's because I'm not a level 2.
NoFollow links definitely help. NoFollow links from low quality sites are useless for backlinks, but all links are good for traffic
