Using Web 2.0 As Microsites

I want to make around 10 different Web 2.0 Sites that link to my money page. But I don't just want to use the simple grayhat approach to Web 2.0 linking where I link to other sites and one or two times to mine.

I want to use each Web 2.0 site to link to 1 or 2 specific URLs of my money page. But not only one time. I want to link every week with a new spinned post with relevant content. A little bit like using the web 2.0 sites as social media platforms or as microsites to a specific topic.

My plan is to make three spinned and relevant posts per week (800+ words) and link to other authority sites like wikipedia or facebook. But one time per week or maybe only every second week, I link to the specific URLs of my money site.

If I provide enough content 2000+ words on homepage, images, sometimes videos and unique (spinned) content, is Google going to see this as blackhat linkbuilding? Because it is backlink building, but if I link every week from my company tumblr, twitter or linkedin account you could also say it's linkbuilding.

And if I provide a lot of unique content and only link every week or every second week to my site, shouldn't Google be pleased?

I don't have the time and money to test it on another domain, but I want it to be safe. What is your experience with similar link building strategies? What is the best way to benefit from a microsite regarding SEO without getting banned?

Multiple links from same web 2.0 won't bring you minimal or no benefit.

If you are planning to use spun content for tier 1, then jump into your time machine and go back to 2012.

And if you are planning to, literally, waste this much time on web 2.0s, you should rather build a decent PBN that will actually bring you some results. Web 2.0s are good for diversity at best these days, they won't help you move your keywords too much.

And what you are planning to do, can be achieved with an automated tool in a few minutes really.

So, bottom line is. No. This is a very bad approach. You don't want to do "classic grey hat" web 2.0s, yet you want to use spun content and link billion times to your money site. That's called "bad hat".

Microsites used to be the go-to channel for promotions, for many businesses. However, with the increasing popularity of (relatively) new, alternative channels such as social media and mobile, microsites have been sidelined a little. Still, there are situations where microsites can be your best bet as a marketing channel, to boost web traffic.

Microsites don't work like they used to.. you now what they're good for now?
