Using Twitter to get YouTube views?

I was just wondering would it be a good idea to use hummingbird and other tactics to get twitter followers, and later on when you build up your followers to a great amount then post your youtube video as a tweet. Would this work in getting views? -Jon

Of course it will work. Twitter users are programmed to LOVE to click links.

Putting a video in your bio gets decent views. What I like to do however, is just make loads of accounts then have a few tweets then set my video as the latest tweet, then on each account add a thousand people. Naturally, you can just link your youtube page and make it your featured video, which will bring attention to your channel and video at the same time.

diwwona, if you place a link in your twitter bio, will the link be clickable or will visitors have to copy and paste it? If it's clickable, that's a fantastic idea. Thanks!
