Hello,

Has anyone tried creating Sub-domains from their PBN to increase the amount of websites they have to write posts/link from?

I am going to test this out and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations or knows the SEO value of Sub-domains

Any feedback is appreciated

From what i gather sub domains lost a lot of their ranking power back in 2013 (Blogger.com) and the like, that said its worth a go but may be better to put your efforts into another site

If you mean Web 2.0 subdomains, they still work very well both from my experiments as well as many of my clients. I have seen many clients websites ranking purely with expired Web 2.0 backlinks. However, I personally would advise a mix of everything for more diversity such as PBN links, expired Web 2.0s, social signals, guest posts, PR release and citations (if applicable) to mention a few. And of course a tiered structured linking with minimal backlinking in the tier 1 and progressively larger backlink profile in the lower tiers cannot do much harm. Just combine and experiment.

Hey guys,

I actually meant creating a sub domain on domains that you own so for example shoes.nike.com and then using your subdomain for Guest post links etc.

To help others out there, I have aged Web 2.0s from wordpress, blogger, tumblr etc. that do seem to assist if you have relevant content.

I've mostly just seen people try to be sneaky using stacked 301 redirects off of their subdomains. It looks something like:

1) setup domain with good content on the main directory.
2) Link main directory to subdomain(s)
3) 301 redirect subdomain to money site or use as a Tier 2 link
4) Drive link juice through subdomain.

Yup, seen this big time, it seems to be working for people too, as it should really.

I actually built a network of redirectors on about 100 or my pbn's which is a pretty awesome asset regardless of what you use them for :)

Unless you want to do 301 redirects of some sort, there is no SEO value as they are considered completely separated from their root domains by G.
