Using short URLs to create backlinks?

Assuming I create a backlink to my website from a high-authority site (e.g., quora.com), under normal circumstances, my website's score would increase.

However, if I were to publish 300 articles on Quora, all of them backlinking to my site... It's said that my website's score would actually decrease.
(There might be real traffic, but the score of my own website would decrease.)

Then I had a special idea.

What if I use a URL shortener…

Q1:
Suppose the 300 articles on Quora backlink to a URL shortener, would the URL shortener provider be the one penalized instead of my own site?

But since service providers typically use a 301 redirect, Google might also transfer the penalty mechanism to my website...

Q2:
I noticed that Google's redirection is a 302...
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.yahoo.com
Because it doesn’t automatically redirect, and its redirection method is 302,

it's possible that the real traffic from the 300 articles could still reach the target website without any penalty issues, but I believe that this 302 method probably wouldn't add any authority or increase the score.

What are your thoughts?

I think URL shortners are 302 redirects, by default, and from what I know 302s pass link juice and penalties. So no, the URL shortner wouldn't be the one penalized, you would :)

This being said, I've never heard of penalties for having multiple links from the same website. Where did you hear / read this?

what penalties are you talking about exactly? I'm not following your train of thought...

And yeah, I don't think that 302s add authority... And if they do, it's only temporary since 302s themselves are temporary

It seems that there’s no need to use a short URL specifically.

This idea came from reading these articles initially.
