Using Facebook page for website traffic

Hey guys, I have a website, and I have been really struggling to get organic visitors to the site. Now, I thought of another idea on how to get traffic, and I want to know if any of you have tried it before.

I will try and buy a large facebook page, let's say like 100k likes and above and they then I will post my website link to the page maybe 3 -5 links daily to get traffic to the site. Would it be a good idea or not?

i working right now in a project like yours but wit my own 10 pages the whole fan pages is about 30k followers and i post about 10 posts a day for each page, no direct link but text with link and image i can get around 600 visitor a day from this and i work to scale it getting more fans

i think it will work if you fans are interested in what you post but don't make suffer you page posting only link this will decrease the posts reach try to go step by step posting images, text and then sometimes links but nit too much.

i'm not an expert but what i can say that my project started about 2 weeks ago and its stable to get visitors and fans too.

Interesting to hear that. Thanks for your contribution but if I may ask, what niche are you as it seems your followers are more engaged to your page
 
its good idea actually alsondont forget to add your video to make it interesting to visit the video can also use for your company or blog purpose :)

Not yet my friends,but you can try :) my experience get facebook page visitor is create a content that still uptrend you can do google trend to get visitor from google and facebook
 
Firstly make sure the page topic is related to your website content, second don't post too many links per day FB would take you as spam. And don't post links only, post text and attached the link, and it's better if you post with a picture.
 
The most important thing is to post content regularly. However, you can’t post just anything. Your content needs to be engaging, relevant, and/or entertaining. Don’t promote yourself too much and don’t add too many links. If you want to gain followers, people need to actually like your content. Once you get a decent number of followers, you can post more links.
Another good method is using Facebook groups. Join some groups that are related to your field and engage with the members there. Again, don’t advertise yourself. Instead, be helpful — soon enough people will start noticing you.
 
Just try to increase your page post engagments , to keep alive page fans
 
I used to pay some guys to build pages for me. They can help me build pages according to my demands, like location, page fans etc. You can find these guys on BHW, they are specialized in this part.

I will encourage building your own page fully based on your website and promoting it. You can still buy the 100k face book page buh build your own page honestly
 
Since the reach of Facebook is low, not worth doing that. Instagram will be better since IG has the highest reach among all the popular social networks.
 
Yes it's a good idea, but it might not work for long, you'd better try facebook ads.
 
Facebook is a good source of traffic. 100k page with good engagement can get you 1-2k traffic per day easily
