How big of an advantage is there to using an expired domain with good metrics as a money site?

I ask because it seems it may be faster to rank keywords.

I never used authority expired domain as money site so cant answer that but I have used them for PBN and they do great job

Yes, you can use but check with the backlink history and spam score of that site and backlinks. And also check with the Keyword competition because it plays an important role in ranking the site.

Wanting to know the answer to this as well. Ive been thinking about this for a long time now but havent really done a research about this.

Hope someone can shed some light to us.

If the expired domain is clean and has juicy backlinks its a big advantage. If the expired domain is related to your nich/keyword even better.

Getting an expired domain is the best choice but make sure the it has good metrics and back links which is related to your niche. And focus on content change it as much relevant to your niche for gaining more traffic.

Before using check the Metrics of the domain, verify it has no manual penalty actions and check the backlink history.

it's okay to use an old aged domain. In fact, there are many advantages of an old domain such as Google loves old aged domain, backlinks are already there, existing incoming traffic, and other web ranking factors are already there too. Just make sure to check its metrics first before using it.

Aged domains with a good backlink profile are better than a fresh one, just make sure it's not been sandboxed or penalized by googe before.

You can use expired domain as money site as long as the name is brandable but make sure to check the history of the domain and the quality of the links regardless of the metrics.

expired domain always placed on top tier,..
if i were you, ill start with fresh moneysite, and place all expired in top tier as pbn...
thats more simply to do...

Expired domain as a money site is a good call. Of course, it has to be clean etc, that's a must.

However, there is one problem. Always take a look at the anchors. Most of them should be brand and URL. You don't want a site about eletric shaves to have anchors about skin care products etc. Even though it may not be a terrible downside, it definitely is one. So try to stick with the previous niche of the domain if possible.

Yup. You can use expired domains but check the spam score and metrics before using.

yes, you can use them. Before you start the money check the history of backlinks. Or Else do 301 redirecting to your new domain.

You can go with it as others are saying to check the link profile. If your expired domain has fresh and good link profile then you can use it. But what i prefer to do to buy a new domain which i want. Buy the best match good expired domain also and redirect it to my new site. Just want to play safe as i know it works same as to use expire domain as money site.

Do your homework very well before buying an expired domain. Check the spam score and make sure it has not been manually penalized. I would always prefer to start with a fresh domain instead of using a penalized expired domain. But, if the expired domain is clean...of course, I would prefer it over the fresh new one.

There's a big advantage of using an expired domain with a good history. We all know that it always takes years to create quality backlinks, Pagerank, and a good reputation for your site. Given the fact that it has good metrics and relevant to your niche, then there's a big possibility to rank high in Google using that expired domain.
