Using ad links to make money

Trying to figure out creative ways to make money from ad urls. I know there's posting in comment sections and the like but that doesn't sound like much fun and requires constant posting. Is it a thing to pay for an advertisement that redirects to another ad url? what are some common ways of using ad links?
