Using a vps/socks 5 proxy to keep the same ip

Hello Been stuck trying to figure this out for months. If i want to make a stealth PP acc in another state how would i keep the same ip. I have used socks5 proxies but they go down after a couple hours and tried a vps but their are only in specif locations when you buy them. But how would i choose the location?
So what i am looking for is a socks proxy that last a very long time.
Is it possible?

Create a windows virtual machine with either vmware or virtualbox and install proxifier on it. If the proxy goes down for whatever reason your real IP will never leak. If you really want you can also use firefox with proxy tool on that vm so there will be 2 layers of protection and you can get 2 consecutive proxies from the same location. Doing this you won't have to pay for any VPS, only for proxies.
