If you satisfy the user's intent perfectly, they won't hit the back button (Pogo-sticking), which sends a massive positive behavioral signal to Google. The algorithm is smart enough now to know if you satisfied the user, regardless of how many keywords you stuffed in there. Keywords just point you in the right direction; the user's satisfaction is the ranking factor.
