    Hello,

this guy wrote messages to me and wanted, that i buy a PR5 Domain for 150$ without any backlinks or anything else. After i bought it (i didn't know how worth a PR5 domain without any links is..), the user ignored me. shame on him!

    Has the domain dropped PR?

You didn't think to check how it got PR5 without backlinks?

Do you really hands down, honest truth think this deserves to be in a shit list with just the information you have given? Seriously think hard about it!

To check whether the domain really has an authentic page rank or has a forged high page rank use the following link:

    Code:
    http://www.checkpagerank.net/
Put the domain name in the box and check...
At the bottom of the page, you'll see if the page rank is valid or is forged.

If it is forged then nail the seller hard.

    Put the result here please.

IMO, without any backlinks, it is definitely FORGED.

    P.S.:
It can be verified only for the initial few days when the domain page rank is forged, after some days, the site will not be able to tell you that though. :(

If you can, please PM me the domain name and I will try to find if it is really forged, but can't promise anything solid as Google too has some limitations in this matter.

It said, that the PR Domain is valid.
But a PR5 Domain without any backlinks isn't worth, right?

    Right.:(

As I said, that site will only reveal if the PR is forged only within the first few days. I had tested it thoroughly a few days back and the same forged high-PR (which it displayed) is now a normal PR-0 (I checked it again today).

OK. Just use Google search and do the following (twice: one each for the "info:www.domain.ext" and "info:domain.ext"). Replace the "domain.ext" with your domain name and extension. If one of the two shows a different URL (the green link) then the Page Rank is definitely forged.

Note that one is without the "www." part while the other is with the "www." part. AND do it NOW (for a good reason.)

Check it and PM me the result (if you do not want to mention it here, initially). :)

I believe, you will find the truth. I believe this method will still display the actual forged result... either one of those two will display a different URL if the PR is forged.

(DON'T put the surrounding quotes when you do the search).

There is a huge reason between buying something out of ignorance and getting scammed. Sounds like OP didn't due his/her due diligence and didn't even really know what he/she was getting into.

    You are 2 times stupid:
One for buying a domain without having a clue of what you are doing
2 for buying something via PM since that breaks the forum's rules.

Stick to your day job, you shouldn't even be using a computer.
