Shit list rule #4:
If you are not directly related to the situation, or are not offering information directly related to the situation: do not post in the thread.

i think you can be feeling quite safe, paypal will definitely handle this for you, however, how did this happen is what i am curious about. you gave someone your paypal login with a credit card on it? thats not the smartest thing to be doing.
I agreed with you and I trusted Bass..my life is always full of downs.

Why don't you just chargeback?

We prefer to resolve things from the forum on the forum firstly. A Paypal dispute / chargeback should be a last resort.

In cases such as this though, once a scammer is banned it's best to go through Paypal or a credit card to get your money back.

Honestly, giving someone your paypal account (be it for their complete business or your JV) never ends well. Atleast 75% of the times, it doesn't. I've had a friend who did a similar thing and his account was loaded with chargebacks/refund issues for around $8500 by customers by end of first month of the deal, and the guy he was doing JV with, ranaway just like that because it wasn't his account. I hope it ends well in your favour. Take care.

What everyone already said. Why would anyone need another Paypal from another person and pay them for using it?

Of course, this was a rhetorical question, as we all know the answer.

- You can legitimately open new accounts, just file a business (LLC, etc) and set it up and you are good to go

Obviously, when you are scamming people you do not want to leave this paper trail and find someone gullible that will fall for this version of "I am a price I have $10 Million but I need $1k to get it out..."...

NEVER
- Do a JV where all it is about is you receiving payments then forwarding --> Scam
- Forwarding packages for money --> Scam likely stolen CC ordered to your place, and that is where the trail will end

etc. etc... Use some common sense.

Bro you should honestly get the police involved and hire a private investigator..... I would

Thread is over a year old, gents.

yep I saw that, and usually, I agree to not post but as someone did point out it made sense to post a general of how to not get scammed, which is not really reliant on this being a shitlist post. Could post it in the lounge but ah too lazy this time.
