I have a popular article about investing for newbies. Let's say it has this URL: mywebsite.com/investing-for-newbies

Now i'm going to publish a part 2 about the same topic.

Should the URL of part 2 be like this:
mywebsite.com/investing-for-newbies-part-two

Or should i come up with something else, like:
mywebsite.com/investing-for-newbies-that-knows-a-thing-or-two (just for example)

I don't want the two articles to compete against each other - at the same time i wouldn't mind having both articles at #1 and #2 in Google for the same keywords.

Thanks

If Content doesn't match then logically there shouldn't be any problem.

I know there shouldn't be a problem in any way regarding duplicate, i would just like to know if i should go for the same keywords in the URL, or try to rank for a slightly different keyword to gain more traffic from Google.
Is Google most likely going to rank both articles for the same keywords, or just rank the article with most external links to it?

You can put /2 after the same URL of the first article.
Or
You can also put /part-2 after this URL, it'll look good and professional.

I would be using an LSI version for the second page of that site as well as targeting that LSI in your second part.

I agree with moviemoney. In plus, is very important to have your keyword in url.
