Anyone had an experience with getting approved on Upwork?

Tried twice over the past few days and I can't get in as a writer... Anyone got any advice?

Was trying to find some additional work in my spare time and there's too many time wasters on free lancer and Fiverr is well.... Fiverr (absolute dog shit)

Any advice would appreciated.. or if anyone knows where I can buy an account.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section please move is so.

I assume upwork has got bit strict or they have too many freelancers right now so they are not giving access to new ones while thats not appropriate.
I read somewhere that @krishnaverma can get upwork accounts activated for an amount might try checking with him.

I got approved right away a few years ago, but I know a few people who were rejected as writers and graphic designers in the past six months. I think they reject people based on how over saturated the current supply of that niche is.

The good news (for some people) is that they are starting to drop a lot of freelancers who aren't active or aren't getting gigs, so hopefully you'll get accepted in the near future.

Yeah I'm hearing the same mate... Going to keep trying see if I can get approved.. once I have time to put together a decent portfolio I might have a better chance
 
Man, if you are new in this field then keep patience!
You'll not get instant works from any sites or any forums when you don't have any feedback or reviews.
So, just keep patience & keep bidding.

Hey bro thanks for the reply

I am not new in this field.. I've been doing freelance work as a writer for years now in between and alongside various other projects. I know my grammar on this thread would disagree XD but I'm on my phone and grammar goes out the window when talking online for me (unless you're a potential client :P). Which is why I was a little surprised when I got declined but seems likes there's a legitimate reason with there being an oversaturation of writers on there at the moment. However hearing there's way around it so hopefully can get sorted sooner rather than later

No, its not a good idea. Upwork supports are very strict, they can ban you if they found any suspicious activity.

Then why you have suggested that?
And he cant withdraw money using your PayPal or Bank AC as well.

There is no shortcut of Freelancing career, its hard to start but if you can become successful then it'll better than your 9 to 5 Shit!

I have a account not being used for an year if it helps someone,why will i keep it ? I know i will not need it anytime.
payment method can be changed anytime .

Such a bad idea. Do not do this. Just keep applying and you'll eventually get accepted. Patience is the key.

hi bro,Why will i not give it for free? If I don't need it and yes its illegal,and can get suspended anytime, but as i said if it helps him any way ;)
 
I have the same question.
My submission was denied twice. Social media field.

Something is very wrong with this site.
My profile and bio is excellent.
But the truth is that I haven't done any upworks tests.
Maybe tests are the key for approval.
