For me, I got approved instantly after changing country only.

I got suspended and after few month I created a new account. They found out that I got another account in 2 days and suspended me again... How do I get a new account without getting suspended??

Not a very safe lead. Infact if they find spoofing identity after you've finished some gigs, earnings are at risk. Though happy read this

Its safe I have used this method on my account, 1 year and still working fine.

This is only trick to approve upwork account and is used widely

1. Go to setting and go Contact Info and select Security Question and save.

I cannot find security question in my contact info. I have also searched in other settings of my profile and I can't find it anywhere. Can you please help me with this?

Found it, it was in password and security. Don't know how I missed it.

I'll try the mobile developer profile and report tomorrow.

what is the purpose of getting upwork account. My friend told me its very hard now to get jobs there unless you have alot of positive reviews
 
It worked! My profile was accepted in 15 seconds!

Now I just want to know how long I should wait to change the skills and descriptions to my skillset. I am afraid it might pop-up on their radar.

Your friend is wrong. Dead wrong. You need to sell yourself properly in your job proposals.

Did all that. Then I saw that my account was suspended. So, no place to submit the application again. :p

Yes, I used it for some time and even got some work from it 2-3 years back. Then one day I got an email that they don't think people need my skills. Then last year, I updated my skills and sent them email regarding the same. But they did not approve.


This phrase is mentioned on their website.... "The right fit is out there. Consider submitting proposals to these similar jobs..."

This is the mail I get... "you have submitted a high number of proposals for jobs on our site without many contracts or earnings. Unfortunately, this means the jobs posted by clients are not a good match for your skills."

I did it but I removed my time zone since some people got banned according to the other comments. So what should I do I am from france should I change my country too to pakistan and put karachi timezone?
 
Yes change every thing to Pak
After approval change back to your country
