Hi guys,

I have a YouTube channel that I am trying to grow. The best form of exposure I've found is hitting the top comments on other bigger YouTube channels, I do this by upvoting that comment with my other 5 legitimate YouTube accounts. Can something of this scale get me "shadow banned" or my comments be filtered as spam?

I also think one of those big YouTube channels I mentioned, removed my comment after it got 150 likes. Can this cause problems for my YouTube account?

Thanks!

Are you copy and pasting the same comments and at a fast past? If you are they will be considered spam.
Hi mate,

No, they are all curated messages congratulating the channel and subtly mentioning my channel in the process. The only spammy bit about it is I'm switch accounts on the same browser/IP and upvoting my comment about 3~5 times. Just enough to get it in front of people and let the organic upvotes follow up afterwards.

It might be that the channel owner is reporting your comments as spam because they contain links to your channel or the algorithm considers these types as messages as spam.

I understand! Just a heads up I'm not linking directly to my channel but of course they can click my profile and go to my channel from there which probably is considered a link to my channel. My issue is, my comments don't appear on some videos and does on others? It made me worry that my channel is getting marked as spam on bigger channels perhaps?

My advice: use proxies. Otherwise they can permaban that account if they find out
