upload theme

Hello

I'm facing the issue when i want to upload my zip theme to wordpress , it keeps loading for a long tiime without upload my theme till i stop it , i tried it several time but in vain

what i should do pllz

I have just bought a domaine and hosting and want to uplaod theme zip that i found here by free,
i checked wordpress theme i found default theme as tweentyfiftenn ..... etc
 
I haven't used Wordpress in a while so I don't remember if it shows an error message, but maybe the theme directory is not writable?
 
You could alternatively unzip the theme and upload it manually to the Themes folder which is located "wp-content/themes" and drop the unzipped folder in there. Once you have done that log into your wp-admin panel and go to "Appearance > Themes" in the menu then activate your new theme.
 
It means the folder you are trying to upload into will not except the files you are trying to upload as the folder is not writeable so it cannot make changes on the folder. If you are using an FTP client like Filezilla or WinSCP then you can do it by right clicking on the folder and choosing the change permissions option. Try setting the folder to writeable and give it a shot
 
i did it but i didn't found my new theme apparance>theme :

Thats because the folder "flatsome_main" does not have the right files in it to be a theme.

You must of uploaded the wrong files
