Update Profile Profile Identities

This is probably not a bad idea, @xReminisce.

If an Admin does not respond in here by the time the weekend is done, I'll bring this up on Monday in a staff meeting but other thoughts are more than welcome.

Reddit though?

I personally no longer use any of the instant messengers... Skype I think I close last October or something, Telegram ended up with it's gravestone as to me in January.

FB I do use on a personal level but it is not work related as I use it for Family and Friends and even then it is like FB Lite, less calories than your usual FB.

The others, <insert your favorite Chef Ramsey quote as to what I think of them for my use>.

I don't use Instant Messengers, skype.. last time honestly was 2016/7s
I probably jumped on it once or twice when a seller wanted a conversation through there since then.
Discord, probably a bit more of a social thing, just a bunch of gamer friends, IM friends/groups then just majority crypto stuff...
Telegram/Whatsapp, honestly just family/work/friends.

FB, haha haven't used that on since 2014s or earlier. I do hop on it regularly to deviate myself from stress and look at cat/animal pictures. Then again, being using reddit more often for that lately.

Personal Twitter... god, I don't use that thing outside of "Internet Marketing".

So maybe your idea is not something you are passionate about?

It is fine, and I think a good idea, but you don't use them like I don't use them.

I think on my FB I have 14 friends... some family members, a few BHW guys that I have a lot of history with, and some guys I worked with in the 80's and 90's.

Otherwise, I use it to take advantage of the gullible by offering wonderful CPA offers.

Still, though, your idea is solid and the decision makers will be interested to hear it I am sure.

While it's not something I am very passionate about, it's not about me.
Was more geared towards the forum best interest (as my opinionated view anyways).

I was thinking more towards the safety and peace of mind of the members

I have my contact details on profile for Twitter, Discord Tag & Telegram.

Then you have a fake/scammer /seller who pretending to be me on Twitter with a different Twitter Tag.
Buyers can go to https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/xreminisce.600449/#about/ easily to check if my contact details match.

I think it should be mandatory for all BST holders to have their "3rd party contact" details listed in their BHW Profile if they are asking buyers to contact them through that communication service.
 
It's a great suggestion, thanks for that. I'll be honest. Looking at the stats these pages are not used a lot but definitely need an update when it comes to their current incarnations. They all still exist in one version or another but are called by different names.

Whilst we'd not make it mandatory for all members to have their 3rd party contact details on the forum it's a buyers decision and if you don't want to buy from those that make themselves private then that's the buyers choice. MP 2 is all about giving buyers more choice and merchants access to more buyers.

We'd always recommend if you want to chat on BHW and ensure you're speaking with the BHW user then the best place for that is conversations, pm, Private messages. (we all call it something different depending on when we started using BHW ;) )

Asked - Can we update the identities to their more recent names? Yes absolutely we will do that ASAP.
Asked - Can we make it mandatory for all sellers to have public info? - No, but we are going to make it an option in MP2 if a buyer will only buy from a seller with their public details exposed then they can more easily surface a buyer than is inline with their requirements.
Answered - as above.
Closed. - Noting work on identities to be completed.
