    Hey BHW,

I wanted to get the communities help. Im helping a friend that is working on a gaming desk design.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

"Gamers Paradise - Gaming Desk - A new way to play!"

    homepage.jpg

It has been featured on Joystiq, IGN in Germany, Engadget in Spain, and Neowin!!!

If you have any constructive opinions or comments on
some things you would like to see integrated, I would really
    appreciate it.

I'm not here to ask for money, as an avid gamer I know that
this is a place filled with experienced gamers who can provide useful feedback.

We are in the process of shooting a new video.
Eventually we would like to have a cheaper model
    as well.

    Overview:

The Gamers Paradise desk is the first desk designed completely for computer enthusiasts who want a premium desk. The concept stems from the idea that a desk should acts like an extension of your computer and all computer devices, including the computer & monitor, directly plug into the desk. This concept makes it easier to plug in and maneuver devices without awkwardly bending over or reaching behind your computer, as such with current desks. It also allows you to avoid the tangled wire mess beneath the desk, by plugging in the computer and its devices directly into the desk.

Doesn't seem to do anything more than my IKEA desk and some cable ties already achieve.

Unless some LED lights is really the deal breaker for you..

Now if you want to be innovative with desks, make a long ass desk that can accommodate all my damn monitors, and have support for vertical mounting them. Now THAT would be a good desk.

Not true. The biggest problem gamers face worldwide is having their ass go to sleep.

just doesn't seem like something that appeals to a mass market. People already have desks, with all their stuff on top, plugged in. Seems like the only people that would replace their current desk with that are gamers with a little wire OCD.

I used to be pretty hardcore gamer few years back, and that desk wouldn't have solved any problems for me. Too small and looks quite uncomfortable compared to my current desk (which is just a basic computer desk).
