Unnatural inbound links

Has anyone else used this link detox website? I've never heard of it. Its a little pricey at $40 per analysis. I would hope that you can do more than one with that kind of a fee. If anyone knows a better way to detect bad links it would be much appreciated. I have a couple websites that could use this kind of treatment. Penguin is still grinding my gears .

I think unnatural links mean, a link from bad sites(not a good reputation on SE) and with less PR.

hey guys I too got the dreaded Unnatural inbound links warning "unnatural linking could include buying links to pass PageRank or participating in link schemes" ONLY use BHW services from reputable guys. I have used services like ahref, linkdetox to linkdelete by contacting webmasters and also by dis-vowing the links - no success at all.

I'm going through the process of using linkdetox now to try and disavow all of our bad links. We outsourced our external SEO services and it looks like the company we used just outsourced all of their work to dodgy backlinking services.

Have you had any improvement since disavowing all bad backlinks?

Here are 4 suggestions for link removal:

1. rmoov (From free to $99 per month)
2. Link Cleanup and Contact (Free)
3. Remove'em (Paid, $249 per domain)
4. DeleteBacklinks.com (Paid, $0.15 - $0.99 per link)

It seems to be recommended really well everywhere. I've run a link detox report on a site we're trying to fix at the moment. It comes back with a lot of information about each link + each domain.

We found that a lot of our genuine backlinks from client websites were listed as toxic for various reasons.

I'd definitely recommend using a similar tool, we would never have suspected our own work to be causing negative SEO. The assumption was always that we had a lot of dodgy backlinks that we outsourced.

Up-date ... two months and one week after starting this thread, my google traffic is returning; link count has stablized and all seems moving toward good. dgp

Why wouldn't you include Linkdelete.com in this list?

I have been through this process quite a few times and the sources you mentioned weren't good at all. Deletebacklinks.com only will delete links from their own network of purchased link directories. What good is that? A few links removed and the rest ignored?
Rmoov wasn't a good tool overall. Removeem is fine if you want to do the work, I wanted to have the work outsourced so that I can focus on my company. I asked for a quote for link removal and they quoted $10 per link removed. That's just nuts.

Linkdelete's largest package was $297, includes 5 domains and they do the same thing that Removeem's software does but they do it for you. They handle the link analysis and the outreach. For a business owner like me that makes the most sense.

Some other advice I have after going through the process a few different times with my sites, and a few friends sites that were penalized (I used my extra domains/URLS from LinkDelete for friends) was to make sure that you try and get links removed before you disavow backlinks. I had the best luck when I worked with linkdelete removing the backlinks, received their final reports and then submitted those reports to Google. After that a few days later I went ahead and filed my disavow list as well.

It is a painfully long process but nice that I didn't have to do much work at all.

Hi ... up-date on this thread: google accepted my list of toxic links; web site now down to <28,000 links from >167000, the other day, which is way day from one year ago or so. No change in PR, yet. So you'll know. dgp
