Hey there, I run Blackhat ads on Facebook & Instagram in the gambling niche.
Recently when I tried to link my FB page with my IG page I got a error that my IG account is already connected to a Facebook page. (see attached files)
However in my Meta account centre there is only one account (which is my IG account)

I did this process many times but this is the first time I ran into that problem.
Anyone knows how I can connect the new FB page or where can I unlink the old FB page?

Thanks :)

  1. Log in to the social media management tool or application.
  2. Access the settings or account management section where you originally connected your Facebook Page.
  3. Look for the connected Facebook Page you want to unlink.
  4. Most tools will have an option to disconnect or unlink the Page. Click on this option.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the unlinking process.
  6. The old Facebook Page should now be disconnected from the tool.

In theory I know how to disconnect them. But in the Meta acount center there is only one account listed. When I try to connect my new page I get the error even tho there should not be a connection. It kind of seems like a bug but I am not sure

Maybe a technical problem. Wait a while

try to clean cookies and cahce and use incognito mode, maybe still detecting or using an old cookie to validate the connection log out from both accounts before cleaning cookies, you mentioned that you already did this process many times so I can only thing on cookies or a previous session still open that is causing that error message to pop up.
