I have a good understanding of AI, and also how the world works which is something you don't understand.
Well what can I say. Good for you. All the best.

Well, that depends on the education they received, if they are aware of the value of things, and not think that free money goes to waste then, it will be a good thing, because having a steady income, that allows you to have basic things, while you use some of that spare time, to improve yourself, with all the resources available, and then aspire something more, otherwise it's a rat race, from the ones that had nothing and need to get to that basic level, to the ones that have everything from birth. Educate, educate and let the younger ones have all the knowledge they need, not just give away randomly, because some individuals will get the message, while others will simply waste the 'FREE' money ...I don't know how I feel about it. I mean apparently they already do this in alaska... and it helps people. But I'm not sure I trust Andrew Yang. There are native indians living in America on reservations, they get money, they also have devastating rates of alcohol & drug abuse. What would Yang say about that? Does giving people money make them more likely to sit around & get drunk or high? Throw their lives away? I don't know.
I do know the welfare system is exploited. Like "welfare queens" we'll likely wind up with "UBI queens". It would probably divide the population even worse. Creating huge pockets of poor people collecting UBI, having babies they can't afford just so the babies can collect UBI. I can only see that enlarging & expanding ghettos throughout America.
My problem with free money is that free money doesn't fix a lot of problems. It would be 1000xs smarter & more productive to give large amounts of FREE b-vitamins to the population. The expensive, highly absorbed kinds. Benfotiamine, active B2, large amounts of niacin, p5p, methyl folate or folinic acid, hydroxo B-12... give people the great vitamins for free. Then most people would feel so good they'd stop stressing the apocalypse and start businesses.
bEING wARM bLOODED iS wHAT dIFFERENTIATES uS fROM lIZARDSIt is entirely my problem but replies like these do raise my temperature:
As an engineer and soon Data Scientist, I can say this is possible, although I agree with you on the agenda, there will be a shift in the labor force, right now we have deep fakes, and algorithms that can effectively identify objects, doing regression is one of the methods but I have been in Watson's lab and what you can do with an AI depends on the quality of data you feed them. Your robots can be as intelligent as you want, for instance the so called deep learning has been here forever, known as neural networks. My own primitive robots have some sort of 'Intelligence', you can see it right now on the algorithms on Netflix, Amazon, Facebook, Google ... they predict based on your choices and the choices of millions, we already gave them the power, behind an innocent 'FREE' platform, was an elaborate agenda.Whatever you want to believe
It's not my prerogative to change whatever you want to believe. But perhaps diving a bit deeper into the topic could open your mind on just how "easy" this will be done. If not then not, your life.
Here's a hint though. For everything else you still have google. I'm out for today.

Free money doesn't solve shit on a long term. Never has, never will.
Holland has a basic income for years
They also have an extremely high income tax rate.
They also have an extremely high income tax rate.
We don't
It is not only tax, also social securities, insurances. That 49,5 is not only taxIt's 49.5% on incomes above 68,507 Euros, that is a high income tax rate.
What is your opinion on this? Do you think that automation will take away most jobs?
