Unique Trick to Restrict Chosen Countries from viewing posts/profile on Instagram

Hey Guys,

Wanted to share a little trick that will help restrict your content/page from chosen geos.

Unfortunately you can not do it for the entire country but it will still decrease the views coming in from that country by a big sum!

Okay here is how to do it:

Go to your profile, click the three lines on the top right to open up the settings panel, then click on "creator tools and controls" and then "minimum age", from there you can select "By country" and set the minimum age to 25 which is the maximum age you are allowed to set.

You won't be able to restrict accounts with age set above 25 but it will eliminate a large percentage of views from that country as users from 13-25 take up a lot of the views in most niches.

Interesting workaround – thanks for sharing!
Another method I’ve seen used (though more limited) is filtering traffic by region using ad audience settings. But your trick definitely helps reduce unwanted exposure passively.
