beforehand im sorry for my english, im from germany and wasnt so good at english in the school
So my Problem:
We have a website with 50+ undersites with intern duplicate content.(50 citys in germany) We are ranking not so good but we have a young website. I think we are ranking because our competitors have DC too..
the main problem ist, that the main page doesnt ranking in google, i watched it with some tools (but they check only first 10 pages) then manually checked till page 18.. nothing.
but an undersite ranks for that main keyword on 3rd page! i dont know why.. i set up more links at the main page, content is unique and made all the 301 correctly..
ah yes one more question! we have competitors that build about 250+ sites that ranking in big citys like Hamburg or Stuttgart on the 1st page! On each site they have only 2 undersites. Disclaimer and Main Page. On the main page is one picture and shitty content with ~300 - 400 words. then some external links to theit other sites in the footer. In the Disclaimer is a big Picture that looks like normal written Text...
On all the 250+ sites they habe exactly the same text, picture, structure etc. Only the City name is different! How could it be? and why they still are ranking and dont have a penalty? In the pm i can send you the websites so you can look at them...
