Unban Glitch(?)

did you report this glitch already you ? because now the unbanning after this is not working its gone now its fixed by reddit
Did i report it? Did you read my post? We're trying to reverse-engineer it...

I've seen some services being offered on reddit to unshadow ban reddit accounts.

And surprisingly its legit, ofc, im not promoting (so don't DM me for it either).

How are they doing it though?
Password and Email reset emails are the only things I can find when reverse engineering it.

And the accounts have been unbanned in less than 24 hours too.
NO INSIDER. It's a method, not an insider. Varying times of unbans is a clear indicator of this.

Any insight on this?
Just appeal the ban yourself. Before doing so, open your account and use it normally. Then, submit the appeal, and they will likely remove the ban for you.

you dont know how strong is this after unbanning with the help of glitch the account become super good quality and cannot be banned easily by reddit itself but after doing your post the glitch is not working anymore as its fixed now and thats make me sad just but anyhow i its gonna be end one day so its finished now
So, what was the glitch if it's not working anymore?

there is no point telling as its gone

There is EVERY point in telling as it may be something that we can use in future OR it gives us a good insight into how the code was structured and we can look for similar weaknesses in other platforms. Keeping this to yourself, assuming you actually do know what the glitch was is just perverse.

If it works why not share with us - I really want to test it out?

Yeah, it’s an interesting one. Reddit shadowbans can be tricky because they’re not always obvious or consistently handled. The fact that some of these unban services seem to work without any insider access is curious but not impossible.
What’s likely happening is that they’re using some kind of feedback or appeal loophole. Reddit’s systems sometimes auto-flag users based on behavior, and appeals sent the right way—or worded a certain way—can trigger a manual review. These services might just be really good at knowing what to say, or where to send it, to get attention from the right moderation layer. They could also be leveraging cookies, IP changes, or even resetting certain account metadata in ways that make the system "reconsider" the shadowban status. If they’re doing this at scale, they've probably tested thousands of variations and found a few that consistently work. But yeah, the varying unban times and lack of insider access do point to a repeatable method rather than someone pulling strings internally. Reddit doesn’t make shadowbanning transparent, so it makes sense that someone would try to game the gray area around it.

Pretty wild how creative people get with it.

at least 2 of my accounts recieve a temp ban until the password was changed, magically 1 of them months ago was unbanned, eventhough they flagged the account with ai, saying it was permabanned, whatever happening to these password changes, it isnt possible now.

2nd time i recieved that message, changed the password, nope was shadowbanned sitll.
