Service: GMB listing
Payment Method: Wise

I contacted the seller on Jan 27 via DM about a GMB listing. They clearly confirmed delivery in 3–7 days max.

On Jan 27 they sent Wise payment details.
On Jan 28 I made the payment and sent screenshot proof.

By Feb 4 the 7-day maximum deadline had already passed.

On Feb 5 (9 days after payment), they said the phone number was suspended and they need a new number. This was already 2 days past their maximum deadline. I provided a new phone number the same day and asked when it would be completed. They did not give a clear timeline.

On Feb 8 I told them if it is not completed in 24 hours, I will ask for full refund.
On Feb 9 they replied it will be done in 18 hours.
The 18 hours passed and they failed the deadline again.

On Feb 9 I told them I want a refund or I will contact admins within 12 hours.

On Feb 10 they finally delivered the listing, far past the agreed 3–7 day timeline.

We are an online coaching/therapy business. We needed this listing for a business alliance agreement with other businesses. Because the listing came late, our alliance agreement was put on hold.

Even after late delivery, between Feb 11–17 we tried in good faith to make the alliance work. We had meetings with our potential partners to see if the delay could be fixed. Our partners also asked questions about other listings that showed up, and we double checked with the seller to confirm they were not responsible for those. We made efforts on our side to repair the situation despite the delay.

Finally on Feb 17 we came to the conclusion that the alliance fell apart because the listing came too late. We informed the seller we do not want to keep the listing anymore and requested full refund, giving 24-hour dispute notice.

The seller did not cooperate.

I am requesting a full refund because they failed to deliver within the agreed 3–7 days, missed multiple deadlines, and the late delivery caused business damage.

Please detail exactly how you have tried to resolve your issue before now.

Hello, @BassTrackerBoats.

we acknowledged the delay as it was from google processing, however client number was suspended and we asked him to give new phone number aand it was given after that all work was done we were waiting for google processing once the GMB was listed and processed we gave the GMB to client on 10 FEB and after that client said:

Thank you — the listing looks great.

I really appreciate it. I was quite stressed earlier as my partner was also pressuring me, so this is a relief.

Could you provide the account details

Thank you again.

we will definitely be back for more listings!

after this conversation client said there is same listing of his business which we didnt created and he wanted to take it down.

we only created 1 Listing and we gave it to the client and he accepted it on the same day where he also appreciated and said will be back with more LISTINGS.

then after 7-8 days he came to us asking about the other listing he had without website and number which he wanted to take down and asked us to take it down and again we dont take down any listing which we didnt created & then client said that you didnt meet the timeline and he dont want the GMB now because his alliance is not agreeing.

however listing is still live and he has all the access.

Also want to mention if he had issue on the timeline he could have said it when listing was live and accepted by him he didnt said anything at that time but said it after 7-8 days that you didnt meet the timeline and we need refund now.

Did you provide the listing, after their phone situation was resolved, in the time that you guaranteed?

The issue with the phone situation has been brought to our attention 9 days after the payment - where delivery date was 7 days max

Within the initial delivery timeline, 7 days max, they have not communicated on their progress - or obstacles they faced; until already 2 days past their deadline

and we already asked twice for full refund instead of the delivery

in good faith we still tried to make use of the delivery -- that we could not stop -- that we did not ask for (despite asking twice very clearly for full refund instead) -- however missing the deadline did not work for us despite our best attempts

that is why we had to start the dispute

no, after phone number was given we provided the the GMB within next 3-7 days timeline as the process of GMB is based on google process.

once GMB was given client got relieved and we said sorry for the delays (as you can see in the attached attachment i given) and then client accepeted the GMB access too, after 7-8 days of the listing client said we dont want GMB as we didnt gave him on the time if he had issues on that specific time he could ask that he didnt want it now, but he accepted and then comes the Twist that he already had the second listing which we didnt created and he wanted us to take down and we denied because we didnt created it here is the attachment:

after that he said we didnt gave him the listing on the time and now he wanted refund also he has all the access to the GMB listing which is live since 9 days

@umurcuk35 - after you got your phone situation squared away, it seems they fulfilled your order in the proper timeline.

Am I seeing that correctly?

if we count the number of days after 2nd phone number is provided, listing is provided within 7 days from that

1. before we agreed to make a payment - the seller has not communicated that he might face some issues; instead they give guarantee fior 7 days max; under any circumstances...
what are your thoughts on their claim for 7 days max delivery?

2. what are your thoughts on the seller not communicating the their progress or obstacles they face within the first 9 days?
we were not informed that phone could be an issue within first 7 days-- regardless they only looped back on that end 2 days past their initial delivery deadline

3. what are your views on seller still proceeding with delivery - despite us asking twice very clearly that we want refund - not delivery?

4. lastly if you can check exact times, the seller also missed their deadline that said "exact" (??) within 18 hours -- is there any way you can check exact hours - or i can check exact hours - to provide proof that?

we made arranged with our business partners based on promises the seller has made - the seller did not meet his 7 days timeline - the seller did not meet my 24 hours timeline - the seller did not meet his 18 hours to be exact timeline.....

the service we agreed to pay for was 7 days delivery -- or asking for updated phone number within the initial delivery timeline in the worst case -- thats why we requested refund from the seller

If you did not provide what they needed so they can fulfill their end of the service, that is on you, not on them.

we did double check before we made the payment to make sure they got all they needed

they did not mention any criteria on the phone number; or any other criteria

and they did not update us with that in first 7 days either, until day 9

if the requirement was a phone number that is not used before - we could have provided the 2nd phone number to them

this was not communicated within first 7 days either....? -- within their delivery deadline

If you did not provide what they needed, how were they supposed to create what you wanted?

The onus is not on them there, it's on you.

im a little puzzled - we asked

"What info you would need from me"

they responded

"Name, Number, Website, Category"

and we provided all they needed accordingly.....

im not entirely sure what they asked and we did not provide before they asked for payment?

The phone number you provided was not working properly.

i understand the seller could not work with the phone number provided

the problem is that they did not ask for unused phone number in the beginning - yet alone within 7 days....

we acknowledge that the seller had a problem with the first phone number we provided

would it be possible to loop back to these questions? (im just pasting again because i dont know how to refer to them in the form of reply...)

That is the crux of the issue.

It's on you, as a buyer, to provide what the seller needed, not on the seller.

we agree and acknowledge that

the seller brought that to our attention and asked for new phone number on day 9; which falls outside 7 days max timeline we paid for -- is this not a problem?

is it not a problem that despite we asked twice very explicity for refund --and not delivery-- the seller missed his 2nd deadline, supposed to be ""exact"" and still tried delivery beyond that point ?

It's not a problem on their end.

If I make an appointment to bring my car to the dealership for an oil change and don't show up, is it on them to call me to come in to get my oil changed?

It's not.

I'm the responsible party to make sure I bring the car to the dealership, not the service manager.

You didn't fulfill your end of the business transaction so they could fulfill theirs, just as if I didn't bring my car in for the appointment I made to get the oil changed.

we expected update, at least with the issue they faced, wthin their delivery time line

its like a baker promises to make bread in 7 days and asks for flour and money - he gets both

7 days pass by, nothing happens - on day 9 he says you gave me wheat flour, get me corn flour instead......

the problem is within their time line and absolutely nothing happening in first 7 days

I own a 2025 car and when we bought it I paid for a service contract that covers our oil changes and a few other things.

If I don't bring the car in, is it their responsibility to call me even though I prepaid for the service?

No, it's my responsibility to bring the car in.

You didn't bring the car in for the oil change and it's not the seller's responsibility to make sure you do.

aside from the ongoing chat

can the seller provide documentation or any evidence that the first phone number is not working, and is suspended as he claims?

at this point im not entirely sure if the first number was suspended as he claimed - and no evidence that there is a problem with the first number -- and that this is not a problem about the seller?

if claim only is enough - what prevents me from claiming that first number was working and its a purely seller problem?
