Udemy Course Section ?

Would it be feasible to have a section dedicated to Udemy courses that are free resources?

Naturally no affiliate links, but sharing coupons / codes to get free access.

I'm not meaning courses that people have ripped.

Then is there a way to automatically lock a thread for replies say after 7 days. Reasoning here is some of the codes last days, some a matter of hours, but this would stop people bumping asking for new codes etc?

Just an idea.

Wouldn't lock the threads but only allow new codes to be posted. Every other post (like asking for a coupon) would be deleted and the user warned.

if this is a poll, my vote -> NO.
There are several website just for udemy coupons and stuff. (Ex : udemycoupon(dot)org)
This is an IM forum. People will start to share coupons for photoshop courses.
A separate section for just one website is too much.

make a new thread listing down all reliable sites for udemy coupons. let the mods review, filter and pin it in the download section.

Why not have a Section where BHW users can Start BST's for Courses? Udemy Vendors will sure love to Pay to start BST for better revenue. & BHW will have a New Section with even Better for newbie.

depend on how many coupon will be there in the section. if that goes above - 250 and weekly 5-6 free courses are to be updated in the section. I would say yes. else NO

I believe a Udemy section is a great idea and should be considered. In fact, I've got a few questions about Udemy but not quite sure where to post them.

Based on the '50 engaged threads' criteria mentioned by @Diamond Damien, there's not quite enough to justify a new section yet. There's 43 threads total for the past four months, and only five that meet the 10 reply criteria.

Yup that would be awesome. Right now I have to search for those threads using "udemy" in title, which isn't a perfect solution.

A Dedicated Sub Forum only for Udemy is Too Much... But a non affiliated Coupons Sub Forum can be fine for All.
