To verify with the blue check, you have to be very popular, it's not easy.

True, twitter is tricky to get verified on, without having a connection (agent, twitter employee, etc.) - I have verified accounts on Facebook, Spotify, Soundcloud, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and a few others...
However, I am not verified on twitter, not really to concerned about it. But I would take a verification if offered
Your best bet would be to find a connection, I wouldn't pay any $$$ for a verification. Most likely it would be removed if found out.
Besides, social media networks come and go, who knows maybe Twitter will die in 2-3 years or it may last another 10...
Anyone able to help with this process?

What's wrong with you PVA accounts sellers, OP is asking for VERIFIED (celebrity/musician) type of account, not your crappy phone numbers.

Try putting a link to your site in your Bio. And for the link you have put in, make sure there is a twitter follow button on that webpage, leading to your twitter. When Twitter sees that, they will recognize you and you will receive Verification.
