I know one of the reasons they say they'll verify people is if fake accounts are being made of you but I know that's not the only thing or else everyone could make fake accounts for themselves to get verified... I think it comes down to having a connection that can get you verified or if you start to become more of a public figure Twitter will do it on their own.
Hi I can't PM yet, I'm a public figure DJ producer who hasn't been verified yet, my Facebook is but I can't seem to figure how to get my Twitter verified can you help me.

Guys, the reason you can't get verified is because you are all talentless. Nobody is trying to steal your identities because nobody knows who the fuck you are.
Time to be realistic, you want to be famous and get verified so that you can grow your ePenis.
Just because your Mum told you your were special doesn't mean the rest of the world will.
Give up on your dreams now, start learning how to wash dishes, because that is your future career or if you are lucky busking on the tube, but as you clowns can't even play an instrument, you might just have to resort to begging.

If you give someone your money and personal documents so you can get "verified" you deserve to get scammed.
Nobody can get you verified, I don't care what "firm" they work for. There are certain individuals who do have access to verification request forms through their accounts, but nothing guarantee's that twitter will verify you off that or that they will even click send in the first place.
You want to get verified? Do it the right way and build up your brand, image, whatever it may be. If your a musician get your music on Spotify, iTunes, and every single other store you can think of. It's insanely cheap to do as an independent artist and if you actually have fans that will buy/stream your tunes, you can even keep 100% of the royalties and make a little beer money.
As for the people thinking the blue check is just for an Epenis, for some it absolutely is, however from a marketing perspective on Twitter that blue check gives you authority and can open a lot of doors for you, by allowing you to network with other verified musicians or entertainers through verified mentions or DM's.
