I like Twitter because it's "mostly" a free speech platform since Musk took it over......but renaming it to X just feels wrong.
 
Hmm, the redirect from X.com to twitter.com is a 302...
How long until it's redirected to Musk's new new shiny thing?
 
A rebrand was definitely on the cards.
He bought the place for 44 Billion then revenue died $3bn in revenue in 2023, down from $5.1bn in 2021.

Something had to be done to bring revenue back up, rebranding is often the easiest way to do this.

TBH nothing really changed since he took over

He pretended to be acting politically for free speech but it was just acting. Then he nominated a progressive woman for CEO and stepped down. And nothing changed. Bots are all over rampant as F, you can still report and take down any controversial topics and so on.

Also they're still censoring stuff, but they call it "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of reach", which is the same thing as censoring.
 
It's funny that they decided to change the logo to X, but everything else is still in the same CSS, blue buttons, tweet, retweet, etc texts are still there haha. What a bad redesign... On the positive side, I like the logo lol.
